I don’t want Fredie to get in a habbit of sitting Mac down every 2 of 5 games. We need to win the division as wildcard playoff is a coin toss and we need Mac there. He has the ability to change the game with one swing of his bat and i am disappointed that he is getting these many off days.

Braves will never resign Bourn, so all of you can forget that. Hadn’t thought of Simmons as lead off, but could work. Wren will have to find cheaper solution to center field next year. Should be some good options in free agency. Bourn will command too much money. Two hits for Uggla tonite, but still would like to see him try to hit something up the middle. That’s how you get out of a slump.

If Bourn can be had at 15-18 annually on a backloaded contract for four years with an option for a fifth, I don’t see how he could say no.
I don’t see the Nats giving him 20 per and the Phils are rebuilding.
