According to Cot’s, Constanza is signed for basically half a mil. And it doesn’t say anything about a minor league contract like it does about his contract last year, so I’m pretty sure he makes that regardless of where he’s playing.

BESIDES, all those fans there paid good money to see a complete game, not just 5 innings. If some of you had been sitting there waiting for it to restart, you would be the first ones complaining if they called it. Be sensible, dadgumit!

Oahu Waimea is awesome, had some crazy surfer friends that paddled out during the winter surf there. And that was before jet skis towed you out past the break. I kept to the 5 ft and beaches, loved Barbers Point and Chun’s Reef. Looking forward to seeing Volcano Pk for the first time.
Thanks for the JJ Dolans tip. And I don’t mind if I have to set my alarm to catch a few early games either.

this team is really starting to look sharp or maybe should I say sharper these days….i think the trade was great and don’t understand why some on here fell it was not…although those people r far and few between…Tyler really has helped the bench also…

Thanks, man. Actually there was a nice ride home last night from ballpark at 2 a.m. Open highway, great night to ride. Rode to the ballpark each of the past three days before today, forecast was for rain today (sure glad I paid attention to that one).

I am a discipline Assistant Principal at a decent sized High School up here in NC…. So the games are always extreme and I am used to making deadlines. I feel your pain about getting out of routine.

Been back about 4 times since my military brat days – for a couple of class reunions, funerals and weddings. I can remember when the drive from Schofied to Hono was thru the cane and pineapple fields, nothing else. Traffic there now is as bad as ATL. It’s a crying shame what’s happened to those beautiful islands.
Woo hoo – our boys pick up right where we left off. We don’t mind no stinkin’ rain delay.
But – watch out, here we come in our rental car!

Really a shame Heyward is turning into what he should be.
Each day I see Efrim posting his latest numbers and it seems like it’s with great surprise.

Here’s a thought for some of you. The National’s brass says now that they will allow Strasburg to pitch into October. I see that as a big mistake and not because he isn’t that far removed from Tommy John. I don’t think he has ever pitched that far into a baseball schedule before and the fact that he is a power pitcher might just make him weaker and more hittable. Like to hear what nolie has to say about that.

Speed never slumps, It’s unbelievable, stupid, embarrassing that a manager would not use Constanza. This team must be special to keep winning despite having an idiot for a manager. Speed off the bench is a great weapon in a one run game. Heyward is the type of runner that intimidates a pitcher and I think this has helped McCann. Constanza is cut from the same mold.

someone goes beyond his normal job requirements, does a great job running one of the best baseball blogs, barely complains about all extra work put in and express a slight and very valid annoyance caused by circumstances and and anonymous interweb douches crap all over him. if someone is really ready to trade job, why don’t they give out their real name, job description and income? must be real friggin tough job to learn if a beat writer and blogger can just switch over and take it over.
