Anybody remember who the guy was years ago, I think it was an American League player that wasn’t real well known, but got hit right in the jaw and he hardly budged. Just stood there and spit a mouth ful of blood and jogged to first.

Tonight is an example of why Hudson is a top of the line pitcher. He dosent have his best stuff, but battles and k nows how to get guys out. He is not fragile like all of the other starters and he is a true pro.

Hudson has retired 16 consecutive Marlins since Reyes’ 2-run homer in 2nd inning. Tough little … Looks so bad early sometimes, then settles in and goes to work.

Kelevra- The Great Urban Legend regarding the Braves is that they know how to draft, develop, and then have their pitchers go on to have above average careers. Since 1990 only two starting pitchers the Braves have drafted and developed have actually won 100 or more career games.
