Hi, BravesQueen. I’m having a rough day. Customer has been driving me crazy. They tried to transfer to their external account yesterday, but the account number had an extra digit in it. They want us to figure out how to get information to give to the external bank to have them find it and credit it. I’m going through a maze trying to find that information. Of course, this is to cover their payroll. Waiting on my company contact to call me back and then customer tells me they may have another way to make it work. Waiting on the customer to call back.
@ColbyInCali……You appear to possess an affinity for chronicling the positive attributes of our guys. Would you consider logging on more and guide some of our lost….it would be an honorable deed and, upon completion; we’ll send you an autographed photo of Paul Yanish.
Tony Austin; you DO realize that all big leaguers strike out sometimes, right? And you DO realize that Bourne is having a great year, both defensively and offensively, right?
Listen I am not the one for the “golden ages of baseball unspoken rules and ethics”, however I do agree that Milky took it a little to far last night. However with me saying that if you are the Braves YOU SHUT HIM UP BY KICKING HIM AND HIS TEAM OUT OF ATLANTA! You dont blow the opportunity to win games like they did last night. I am so so so so so tired of Fredi. It seems like he gets outcoached almost on a nightly basis. No way that Janish should have been hitting in that spot with the game ready to be won in the 9th inning! Just poor coaching at that point. Until the Braves can shut up the “Milk Man” by kicking the Giants but out of Atlanta, he will continue to do what he did.
Please sit Uggla and bring Constanza back up. Until Uggla learns how to go the other way on a consistent basis he is no more than a power hitting strike out ready to happen.
Haggard — SO nice to see you! Its been a long time friend. Too much time passes, and I don’t spend too much time on the ole blog these days. How are things with you?
The Braves are a team with a manager who’s too timid to stand up for his players and argue a blatantly bad call. Do you really expect Fredi’s team to have any balls when the opponent disrespects them on their home field? When Melky says “suck it,” the Braves respond, “oh, okay, sir, you got it.” At least that’s basically what McCann said in his post-game quotes yesterday.

Keep at it, DOB, you’re doing a good job. Don’t let up on this, we need Uggla to either find his swing soon, or we need to go about this in a different way. Uggla is becoming a liability, and I’ve been one of the few that has continued to defend him, but he’s truly hurting this lineup now.

Yes I do realize Ks happen. I do realize Bourn is having a good year. However, I also realize that he’ about 6 Ks away (or so) from 90 Ks on the season. IMO that is way too much for a lead off hitter. He has speed, he needs to put the ball in play and use that speed. I understand most of the time he isn’t going to leg out an infield hit, but he has a better chance getting on base that way that his does walking back to the dugout with the bat in his hand.
Doing well and staying busy–which is the way I like it. And doing long distance dating (2 hrs. away) for 15 months now. The only bad thing is both of the above have severely curtailed blog time and I miss those eclectic conversations.
