Way to go, Jurrjens.
Get JJ out of there. My last comment is awaiting moderation. Justs saying how bad this game sucks
That’s just ridiculous.
Best Rasslin faction of the old WWF
I Just Turned It off!
Another Pitcher who gets a hit against us, the story of the season
Lol at Zito!
And Chipper? WTF – you gotta get that slow roller.
July 17th, 20128:19 pm
Listening on the radi cause we folks in Hawaii are in the giants “market.”
Radio guys absolutely savaged melky last inning for mailing it in while he as with the braves. Bordering on bitter.
Is the reverse blog curse working again?
Yep, just keeps getting better and better. I’m about to go spend some time with my beautiful wife.
.071 average …. hit and an RBI
Man….right down the middle with a blazing 87mph fastball. huh, who would have thought?
Just noticed and it does not effect the score. Almost every Giant has a dirty uni and not a single Brave does.
Ball game folks. hahahahah THE PITCHER gets an RBI single off of you when you need to lock down an get an out. This is the JJ people should expect to see not the lucky one from the first few starts. The Braves better pray that Minor gets better and that Ben Sheets stays healthy and is forreal because JJ will struggle this year just like he did in AAA…
McFann :Ô: :Ô: :ô:
Joe: “That means Buster Posey’s gonna have to go back behind the plate, and the Giants only carry two catchers…”
Ohmagosh!! WHAT?? Oh, this is terrible! Are they gonna be OK? I mean, NO team only carries two catchers!!…
Oh wait!…Yeah, nevermind…
bravesgrl4life — Hey there girlie! Good to see you. How’s it going (besides the game obviously)?
SF is about to blow this ball game up!!!!!
JJ needs to be removed from this game. He’s got nothing tonight.
July 17th, 20128:20 pm
Chipper should have turned that bouncer into an out, but Jurrjens made yet another poor pitch.
Its not all JJ fault..the players have no “D” tonight.
Avilan warming in Braves bullpen
Another walk… Well done JJ.
Yeah, this is aweful.
July 17th, 20128:21 pm
Mediocre pitching tonite, extremely poor D – and no offense yet – not a good day to be a Braves Fan.
I hate Jurrjens. What a sack of garbage.
Probably chalk this one up, winning streak likely over. We can’t even get a hit against Barry flippin Zito, HAHA
The “Blog Curse” claims yet another victim.
Well this is fun.
Yes bravesgrl4life, I already said it was DOB’s fault.
I can’t wait until we finally get rid of JJ. It just ain’t working out for him here anymore.
Yogi Berra… I’m sure it will make it online…
LOL…eff this. Get this idiot out of the game.
Just turned it back!
Get Double J out NOW!
You guys just don’t understand!!! Jurjens is much better! His velocity is way up and he’s dominating again. oh wait, none of that is true.
Now that was just merriot……..pooooo
7-0 call Go Daddy Go.
Hope Braves are still looking for SP.
I know giving up is a blog staple, but it’s the 4th inning, guys.
July 17th, 20128:22 pm
JJ can take one for the team if I’m FG…..
JJ’s career is over. He will never recover. Yep. I strongly believe and stand by that. Career!
Better hope the Nats lose to the Madoffs.
Giants playing with more urgency tonight…
Great game Braves, great game JJ, games over and it’s not even the 5th inning, way to show up ready to pitch today JJ. Gotta feeling this is gonna be the JJ will see a lot more of the last half of the season. His advanced stats show he was VERY lucky his first few starts and he still throws quite a few 87 mph fastballs right down the middle of the plate and unless your RA Dickey that won’t cut it in the majors.
Jurjjens is throwing BP. I think we lead the league in starting pitchers who can’t reach 90. And JJ’s command is awful.
Giants win 7-1…..people still don’t think we need another starter?
Get off your @ss Fredi!!!!!
Guess we need more pitching after all. So much for the positive vibes there DOB…
July 17th, 20128:23 pm
Gutless performance by JJ. Simply gutless.
BYE BYE JJ!!
Fredi’s an idiot.
I can see a groundball dp here. That aligns with what Jurrjens has received.
I miss Simmons. Everything seems to be getting through tonight.
Great job JJ…85mph right down the middle.
Jurrjens with yet another mistake.
Joe – he stunk.
wow no offense no defense and no pitching and no help from the umpires….not goign to win many of those
Get JJ OUT NOW!
JJ will abide
Don’t worry….Minor is pitching tomorrow.
Hi, BravesQueen. This is ridiculous. Other than the game, I’ve got issues with the mouse pointer and touchpad on this laptop, and work is driving me crazy.
How are you doing, my friend?
July 17th, 20128:24 pm
Now the bullpen gets taxed AGAIN.
That’s why a trade is a waste of time.
oh well ya gotta expect a streak this long to end at any time. tomorrow is another day, though I imagine thee are folks here who expect a win streak to continue forever.
Hey, look at the bright side. If wren had started to think we were okay after the Sheets performance, tonight oughta tell him that he’s got some more work to do. With that, you guys have a nice night. As Cartman would say, “eff you guys, I’m goin home.”
JJ is so gone at the end of the season if not before.
Processing commences to find JJ an exit ramp
Gotta stop the bleeding ….
Coach (2012 Fredi's Beisbol Fandango)
I guess the asking price for Dempster just went up. Hard to negotiate from desperation.
JJ non tendered and will look for a minor league deal with a team.
Really missing good D tonight – coulda helped slow this inning down two runs – and they wouldn’t have any runs this inning either.
Avilan in for Braves with 1 out in 4th inning, trailing 5-0. Have been out-hit 8-0.
Avilan in for Braves with 1 out in 4th inning, trailing 5-0 with bases still loaded. Have been out-hit 8-0.
Damn That was harsh!
July 17th, 20128:25 pm
I look forward to the day JJ is no longer a Brave.
Jurrjens really has no business being in the rotation after tonight’s effort. His location was off in a couple of his previous starts but he was able to weasel out of trouble. Tonight was just bad.
It”s about time Fredi got him out!
July 17th, 2012
no one here is giving up….
If we unloaded JJ at the all star break last year, no telling the ransom we would have gotten in return. Now teams hang up if Wren even starts the convo with Jair’s name.
Have some fun, Luis.
Only the Braves can get blown out by the Giants.
July 17th, 20128:26 pm
It wasn’t those arrow straight 86 mph fastballs down the middle, or hanging breaking balls…it was the defensive problems and missed calls. Yeah, that’s it.
Someone get out to the player’s lot and program Coolray stadium into JJ’s navigation system.
@Nolieee…..you are prolly right; in blogomania the part of the brain that deals with losing is not working properly.
Nice spot to stick the kid…
I was hearing more talk again today about how Chipper is no HOFer….
I obviously think he is, but I bring this up often.
He IS going to face opposition to getting in and a lot of it. — phil
Wanna bet? I haven’t spoken to a single writer of the opinion you just expressed. Not one.
I don’t mean it Tomahawkin
Who couldn’t see that coming? That was atrocious, JJ had nothing going for him, lack of command was appalling.
July 17th, 20128:27 pm
Freakin’ Posey up again? Wasn’t he up like 2 batters ago?
Here’s where Melky did the obscene crotch-chop earlier.
so we can add JJ to the list of Braves starters Sheets has pitched better than since the AS Break
Let him get smacked around for 7 innings and leave him out there so the fans can let them know what they think about him. He had no location and no velocity on his stuff today it’s obvious he didn’t come ready to do his job tonight at all. Great way to start off a tough series JJ…
I’d let him eat innings and take one for the team so we don’t have to waste our BP’s arms. Don’t mind if JJ’s arm is tired after tonight since this games already a loss because of him. No sense in having a few of the bullpen guys tire themselves out because JJ didn’t come ready to do his job….
looks like a Monday on Tuesday
Most hated MLB player: Melky Cabrera. I hated him when that trade happened, and i hate him more now. Fat slob.
So much for a jurrgens “gem,” nolie. Gotta resist the predictions.
Radio guys say melky playing “like his hair’s on fire.” We’re playing like we’ll muss our do.
Jair has such a poor attitude on the mound
Yeah, Jurrjens didn’t help at all tonight.
On the radio, Don Sutton was commenting on the bad shape that Melky Cabrera was in two years ago. Wondering “you’re getting paid good money; why waste a year of your career like that?”
July 17th, 20128:28 pm
Tonight was a nice night to go to a game because it wasnt so hot…
Glad I didnt go….
Yeah, he didn’t really have much tonight.
8 runs for the Giants in 3 turns at bat. The Giants!!!
Right down the pike….this gift was driven to Mars
