I was hearing more talk again today about how Chipper is no HOFer….

I obviously think he is, but I bring this up often.

He IS going to face opposition to getting in and a lot of it.

Telling you JJ will NOT have a good game tonight, he’s pitched great his last few his due for a bad game. You don’t pitch terrible in AAA for that long and come in the MLB and post quality start after quality start he’s eventually going to level out and have an ERA in the 4.30 range.

For all who kindly asked, I’m doing fair at the moment health-wise. Just getting through the days, doing chemo and dealing with side effects. I still have a few weeks left to go yet. Its exhausting!

I am however enjoying the ’suspense’ of what the Braves do between now and the trade deadline. I look for them to do something, just not sure what that will be. But I agree that something has to be done as we cannot keep going on like we are now.

Zito has absolutely dominated us through 3 innings. We’ve managed to get a guy to 1st base one time and he didn’t go any further. Hopefully since Zito is older he’ll get fatigued a little earlier and will be able to tack on a few runs around the 5th/6th, but it won’t matter unless JJ limits the Giants to 3 runs through 5-6 innings which doesn’t look likely, but it’s possible if he can find his location tonight. He hasn’t been able to locate anything consistently so far.
