You all knew the Braves HAD to reach 40 loses before 50 wins. I expected a loss today regardless of the visiting team or the opposing pitcher. It’s a Braves’ law.

Well, Nolie….

Nothing. But it does keep coming up, which pisses me off.

I guess i’m just sensitive to declaring sure things after what happened with Dale Murphy. He was called an HOFer prematurely, then bam, wheels fell off.

Same with Chipper. Bam, starts getting hurt all the time. Chipper rallied, obviously, and kept producing, but i ain’t putting the cart before the cow this time, no matter what everyone keeps saying.

So there. When i hear that crap all the time, it concerns me. When i hear what dave said about his fellow writers, i feel much better. But still.

1991 braves – Lag, you are such an idiot. Is that all you can come back with. Typical non-intelligent braves fan.Try coming back with an intelligent remark. Or better yet, just stay quiet, like your favorite manager and G.M.

Translation: “I was wrong about Barry Zito’s age and got called out on it, but instead of admitting my mistake, I’ll attack whoever called me out with insults and name-calling and tell him what to do so I can feel like a big man behind this computer screen. And then I’ll set up a straw man argument that FG and FW are his favorite manager and GM and attack him for that. Yeah, I’m the man behind this computer screen!”

Have a nice day, Sir Troll.

I’m definitely one of those wanting a trade for a starter, but why are so many wanting Dumpster, who is having a rennaissance year which is likely a one-off, rather than a younger guy with great stuff like Garza or Geinke? Sure both of them have had some problems this year, but unless you’re wanting a two-month rental, I don’t see why we’d want Dumpster over a younger arm.

Why is it not the least bit surprising that the low scoring San Francisco Giants have nine runs through six innings against the Braves in Turner Field?

It’s one thing for a starter to have a bad outing but why does that also mean the Braves never score any runs when that happens?

What the hell has happened to our pitching, One day they are great and the next time out they are terriable, Delgado goes down to AAA and gets bombed, Teheran gets worse everytime out, Minor can’t get past the 5th inning, you never know what to expect from Huddy or Hanson, the offense has carried this team lately but that could come to a halt any day, it has today already. I can’t see protecting those young arms any longer, better trade them while they still have a little bit of trade value, that is if they still do.

they are 21 and 22 years old, you don’t just haphazardly panick trade young piching when it struggles, struggling is good for young pitchers, it teaches them that they need to learn how to pitch and that their stuff alone won’t carry them to the promised land.

Trade one of em sure, but you trade all of em, well what do the Braves have in 2015? They don’t have the $$$ to just go buy pitching
