Think about what you’re saying here. The Mariners would be “foolish” to trade ?Felix Hernandez for prospects? Please. Can’t imagine how that makes them better.

It’s been over a decade since this team was even in the NLCS.
That’s what I’m looking for. A post-season birth and a playoff series win. I want an NLCS appearance.

He’ll have some of the losing teams coming right back to him. It’s a great position to be in if you’re Theo and Hoyer.

The Cardinals still have the best run differential in the National League. They are dangerous.
Every time I go check out the Braves total runs scored there’s the Cards with their copious amount of runs scored. Crazy.

I think it would be a huge mistake to stand pat at this year’s trade deadline.. specially given what happened last year and how wide open the division is.

Yep, I was at the last time they won a damn home game in the playoffs back in 05.

I wasn’t saying that phil actually is all that negative, I realize that a lot of his comments are facetious. however he doesn’t make enough positive comments to let others know that IMO, and I often see his name brought up as an example of the prevailing negativism and i’m not sure he realizes that. wasn’t a cut at him
