Would love to see Livan pitching in 106 heat on saturday…..
June 28th, 20129:42 pm
Bring back Rev…
Wait. Simmons is human?
Would have been an error on the Rev…
June 28th, 20129:43 pm
A win tonight and the braves would be 6-1 against the dbacks. Any chance we could schedule them more?
June 28th, 20129:44 pm
Glad Rev is gone…
June 28th, 20129:45 pm
Medlen isn’t the pitcher so many here make him out to be. He’s a solid pitcher, but prone to the really REALLY bad outing.
I’m pretty sure Minor has a brain because after he walks his trademark lead off guy in the 5th, he begins sweating, looking over to first, and taking on the look of an insolent child before giving up the inevitable 3 run homer. He wouldn’t be able to do all those things unless there was a brain sending fight of flight signals to his body that he is terrified.
June 28th, 20129:46 pm
Trouble brewing. Rev never would be close to that Upton groundball.
he be wild too
June 28th, 20129:47 pm
No walks….ok, Fredi off his @ss just like he’s supposed to [Read: Livan Marathon of Braves yore].
Fight OR flight.
With Mike, of course, it’s flight.
June 28th, 20129:48 pm
Medlen is an average to good pitcher. That’s it. And that’s fine, but he’s no Mauer.
Medlen just had to walk Goldschmidt.
The A Bomb
AND THE HAWKS SELECT……
JENKINS! Great pick!
McFann :Ô: :Ô: :ô:
DS1 McCann is actually hitting better against lefties this year than righties……. just sayin.
Fredi doesn’t seem to pay too much attention to that kind of stuff……
Atlanta Hawks pick select John Jenkins Gaurd from Vanderbelt 23 pick.
Seriously Hawks? The tradition continues.
June 28th, 20129:49 pm
This is the game right here
That was a great pick……
That was easy…
Good job, EOF!
EOF disappointed to only throw one pitch?
June 28th, 20129:50 pm
Minor has me wondering about these Vanderbilt kids….
Oh wait Price went there too, never mind. Lets go Hawks
Honestly can’t complain considering I know nothing about him.
June 28th, 20129:51 pm
Was Chip paying respects to the NBA’s Oklahoma City “Thunder?” Nice touch–class move
June 28th, 20129:52 pm
Jenkins can make shots from anywhere. Exactly what the clanking Hawks need since they lost Crawford.
No 7′0″ “Melo” for the Hawks?
(Rob from SC)
June 28th, 20129:53 pm
Walk Off by Chipper, and let’s win this game.
June 28th, 20129:54 pm
It’s time to score right here. yes
We win next 4 games, we’ll be in first. No help needed, just win baby
Uggla, I only had a burger for dinner. I’m ready for my tater. Can you please serve that up now?
if uggla could see the ball 1/10th as good as chipper we would be fine.
June 28th, 20129:56 pm
That is acceptable…
June 28th, 20129:57 pm
Thank you very much!
I don’t think even Chipper can hit a walk off in the 8th inning, Ward
A few weeks in the minors did Jurrjens a world of good. I wish they’d send Uggla down. He’s lost.
Pathologically inept…..further research may reveal cause, if I had to guess–perhaps this is a case of Ugglamortus
That, not so much acceptable
uggla really sucks. really.
There is literally no pitch right now that Uggla can handle. He looks worse than he did in last year’s first half. Wow.
Balk? Must have been a twitch if that….
June 28th, 20129:58 pm
Guess I’m going to bed hungry. But maybe Freddie can serve it up.
on vacation and trying to follow on gamecast. Thought Chipper stole a base for a second. Did get a double take from me
Uggla with his great performance!
June 28th, 20129:59 pm
3 caught lookings in one game….from a swinging machine?
Make ‘em pay, Simba. Put one out there in the bullpen!
phil.. I think he took his first step w/ his front foot..
June 28th, 201210:00 pm
Fredi seriously needs to sit Uggla. Even if it is one game.
June 28th, 201210:01 pm
JJ did good considering last week he had a great zone to work with and this week a pinhole
That was sloppy…
I guess so, Kat….it was hard to tell.
June 28th, 201210:02 pm
We’re gonna lose aren’t we?
Where there’s a way, there’s a will with this team as unkind as it is to say.
Come on Braves. Finish the job.
He will Joe 12-Pack, Uggla will not play tomorrow. Book it.
June 28th, 201210:03 pm
Simmons…..booooo! In a friendly sorta way.
The darned ball must be given a 450 pound wallop at once
Fredi seriously won’t do ANYTHING the fan base realizes should happen.
Uggla’s his godson.
June 28th, 201210:04 pm
Someone gets the boot here shortly….too much whining.
Where has the constanza crew been tonight?
June 28th, 201210:05 pm
Hinske use to be able to hit those fastballs.
Hinske is looking done
I smell extra innings coming our way.
Best in the whole world!
Just saw he box score where Wilson was used as a PH? Why would you use him for anything other than to get people coffee?
This team needs to get it together with men on base. Awful. 8 runs, 6 runs, and then they struggle on the third night.
June 28th, 201210:06 pm
Uggla, Simmons and Hinske strike out in the 8th, Hinske with 2 on to end innning, and Kimbrel is on to pitch 9th with score 2-all.
Uggla should perform the Mauer wake up the muscles routine…..
Problem solved if he would.
Can’t win games with this atrocious display of offense.
June 28th, 201210:07 pm
Not a curve–just pure gas; no excuses for Hinske and Uggs—I thought that’s what they did?
It’s what they do, TM.
Team LOB 8, 0-10 RISP
June 28th, 201210:08 pm
Lose some weight, Hinske.
how were those balls?
June 28th, 201210:09 pm
Who the hell is voting for Uggla for the allstar game ?
What a play by the Kid!
Nice play, kid!
Score 14 runs in the first two games and then folks think it has to continue into perpetuity? Most extremely good teams do not win all the time.
Why isn’t O’Flaherty pitching the 9th after a 1 pitch 8th inning?
Dynamite….split off the ole block of_______________All-Star MLB
There’s no excuse for not winning this game.
Playoff teams win these kind of games.
The Nationals lost.
We need to win. Period.
Not a save spot….
June 28th, 201210:10 pm
Why isn’t O’Flaherty pitching the 9th after a 1 pitch 8th inning? – Had to be a pinch hitter for him in Hinske right?
Wayne – pinch hitter
June 28th, 201210:11 pm
The only thing perpetual about our 2012 Bravos is Fredi’s game plan
Oops. Got me there………
June 28th, 201210:12 pm
Chris Young kills us again.
And the blue cost us once again…..
As i was saying….
Looks like Fredi is going to try, and win it in the 9th. “Go!!!!!Braves!!!!!”
Kid is human after all.
Ouch!! shoulda walked him kimmie!
This one is on Uggla. Multiple opportunities, zero contact.
Kimmie, you were not supposed to do that.
No game gain on DC tonight? Lost in Space….like Russian Monkey
June 28th, 201210:13 pm
kimbrel got rocked. at least the nationals lost…
LOL!! Dfa indeed.
