The 4 and 5 spot have been black holes for weeks. I’d sooner bat chipper or Freeman in cleanup. Heck, our leadoff hitter is hitting more HR’s lately than our vaunted catcher.
ST. PETERSBURG — Charles Sweatt felt something sting his leg during the June 16 Tampa Bay Rays game against the Miami Marlins at Tropicana Field.
He thought he had been hit by a foul ball.
But when Sweatt, the police chief in the tiny Panhandle town of Parker, looked down, there was no ball. Instead, another fan sitting nearby found a bullet.
It appears, authorities said, that the bullet dropped from the sky about 9 p.m. and pelted Sweatt’s right thigh. It left a bruise, but nothing more.
“No one really knows where that bullet came from,” said St. Petersburg police spokesman Bill Proffitt. “It was a falling bullet. That’s what it looks like.”

Willingham isn’t an option unless we are willing to trade for him. And I still don’t see all that depth at pitching equating into qaulity rotation, look at all the problems we have now. And next year isn’t any different with the possibility that JJ won’t be offered arb, Beachy possibly not making it back at all next year, Hudson another year older and I doubt all of the physical issues gone, Hanson is what he is nothing more than a 2 or 3 starter and then you lump all of these together Delgado, Minor, Teheran and Medlen to which none of them have shown they are ready to lead a club. I just don’t see all of this quality everyone has faith in for next season, I see the quantity by not quality.
Well said AT and I agree with this statement 100%. I just hope Wren sees the rotation as we do because this team really needs an ace this year and in the future. Greinke would be a really good addition for this team.

You just can’t throw in another question mark into the rotation that is filled with question marks already.

That also looks like our playoff chances if we don’t acquire a starting pitcher haha

And Jamie would look nice rooting her husband on.
Go Jamie Kotsay. Go Braves.
Might as well get Brandon McCarthy while we’re at it, so Jamie and Amanda can sit together at the games.

Would rather see Emily Kuchar in the stands.
