Disgusted, I doubt it would be much different with a different owner. When the Braves had Time Warner, people were complaining about Time Warner, now it’s Liberty Media.
@Trey — They are quite similar. That TV deal does not help either.
Would just want to add a few mill to the role, they do not have to be the RS or Philly.
The community would be more receptive to a baseball fan person than a corporation, even if not alot changes. You can only spend so much of what you take in.
It might be the same payroll or not, the general public does not relate well to a corporation.
There is real potential to build on right now.
And they have gotten to Aaron Cook.
Maybe Minor can give a couple of good IP.

If I see Minor pitch another game…I will scream. The experiment should be over. How many times are the Braves gonna stick him out there with only the slightest chance of winning. He will always have that inning where he implodes and its game over.
Delgado and Minor = no wins!
Keep saving all of that young pitching…make no moves and watch the GB column in the standings continue to climb. By the end of today, we can be 5 games out…Happy/happy/joy/joy!

Offense is doing it in this inning, but unfortunately if Minor is still in the game, it won’t matter how many runs they score. I bet anything that Minor gives up at least 1 run in the bottom half of this inning. It’s the only thing he does consistently. It’s actually the only thing he is good at. The next Tom Glavine my ass, if I were Tom Glavine, and I would be highly insulted by that comparison.

I didn’t say that, George. But I’m not going to blame Fredi for pitching Minor when, outside of Medlen (who I think is of much more use in the ‘pen….especially since you’re blaming Fredi for overusing Venters last year. And if he had used a crappy reliever instead of Venters, you’d complain about that too. But I digress).
See, when you blame everything under the sun for being Fredi’s fault, it makes you look like an overreacting, obsessed loon.

Here it comes, come hell or high water, Minor will give up at least 1 run. Yes the error didn’t help, but Simmons did get that ball in the alley. It’s where it was hit that matters most. There it is, knew Minor couldn’t get it done. It’s what losers do, they choke.
