Hanson would be leaps and bounds a better pitcher if he had composure. Ive never seen a bigger poutier baby than when he makes mistakes

Uh-Oh, Hanson’s pretty model girlfriend sitting in the stands today may be ready to dump him now! Just remembered though, he gets paid the same whether he stinks or not, doesn’t he? Never mind!

When some of you wonder why people like myself intelligently despise the way Gonzalez runs the club, there’s your perfect example.

1. 100 degrees
2. Hanson tweaks hamstring — moonshot last inning.
3. Allows 1 homer
4. Finally makes a change after a 2nd.

Guy just lets the game come to him. And now we have a Venters sighting in the SIXTH inning. This game typifies the button-pushing chaos under this guy. He could have shaken hands with Hanson after five — now we have a game.

This game had the look of the the two teams changing uniforms … The Braves were loose and free swinging. The Yankees looked flat and disinterested.

But that seems to have been only temporary.

The Yankees have come all the way back and tied the Braves for the number of HR’s hit.

If my addition is correct, after 68 games the Braves were 21-11 WITH Chipper in the lneup and 15-21 WITHOUT Chipper. We better figure it ot or next year will be a really, really long year.

And Venters can’t pitch?????

Hard to believe how mediocre Hanson still is after a few years in the bigs. Always around 100 pitches through 5 innings. Just as likely to go 2-3 innings and give up 5 as he is to go 7 scoreless.

Ya know, i never thought I’d say this, but I’m ready for the NL to get the DH too. I have always thought it gives the AL an advantage in the playoffs as they have a paid bat for that spot, where the NL tends to have to start a bench guy.

Plus, watching pitchers hit sucks
