Even when they r playing good the braves are clearly a step below the best teams obvious by our games against the yankees and nationals….so the best thing for the franchise is to rebuild it. if your not good enough to when it all then what r you doing? so here is what we do….
wait for uggla to have one of those 2 week monster stretches and then trade at max value….it is a weak market for impact bats so the haul should be pretty good
mccann is starting to find it again so you wait for him to get his numbers up and trade him to an american league team for a decent package
trade bourn to the highest bidder not in nl east…again legit leadoff hitters are rare so the package should be pretty good
ask chipper if he wants a 3 month head start on retirement or if he wants another shot at a ring..if its the ladder then send him off to a contender for a something decent but nothing great for average hitting 40 year old
trade ross to a team desperate for catching help…there are actually a lot of teams who need catching help
put prado back at second, make sure the prospects you get back include potential center fielder, left fielder, 3rd baseman, catcher and one frontline pitching prospect.
put innings limit on anyone coming back from injury(hanson, moylan, venters(fatigue) medlen)
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIND A REAL MANAGER!!

Y’all talking about Beachy coming back and pitching next year keep in mind Medlen was hurt in July and pitched two and a third of an inning the next year. If Beachy has TJ, count on him for 2014 and not before.

It will take to much to get Ryan Dempster. He has a 14 million contract this year with another 3 million he could earn from bonue. He also has 3 million owned him in defered payment. He has a no trade which he would need to approve which would be more $$. Plus he is a free agent at end of year.
Cubs woulds also ask for 2 or 3 very good minor league players.
DOB I believe this is right based on Cots contracts and Insider…if wrong let me know.
Braves must get something they can build on, not another Tex deal.
