OK, when Simmons came up he had a smooth stroke. Now he looks like he’s trying to hit the ball a mile. WTF Greg Walker, this isn’t weekend beer league softball. Teach bat control and situational hitting for Fsake.

Nope. Simmons acts like has some common sense.

Uggla now 1-for-19 with 9 K’s in past 6 games…

Big night for Heyward. Braves up 4-3 after his 2-out RBI hit. Durbin in to pitch for ATL.

I wonder how the Yankees will battle back and take the lead in the 6th inning like they always do against the Braves.

Teixeira The Robot will need to re-program his circuits after that baseball off the foot. Requires a circuit chip only Yankees personal have.

My bad. Uggla may also be getting All-Star votes for his defense. Dan “Just out of the reach of” Uggla. Or Dan “wide throw to first by” Uggla. Without Freeman at first base, Uggla would have 25 errors by now.

And those other NL second basemen would look a lot better with Bourn and Prado to drive in. And I’ll tell you another stat you obviously was lax in posting and that is that he is leading the whole NL world in strike outs.

That’s a “respect the great player who’s retiring” vote. Cal Ripken’s numbers were way worse than Chipper’s in ‘01, yet he started the ASG.

Forget Chipper making miscues that could cost his team runs. If you actually LOVE Chipper, you should hope he doesn’t get killed at the hot corner! He’s old. His reflexes aren’t what they used to be. If he takes one off the head because he can’t react quickly enough, he could die!
