Shouldn’t Snitker have been giving Heyward a stop sign? With Chipper running, it was smart of him to head to third because he figured the play would be at the plate.

Announcers now dissing Braves bullpen leading up to Kimbrel. Calling the middle-relief and set-up guys “a little shaky”. Gotta agree.

Why do people have to automatically blame Chipper’s error on being 40..sheesh..he did get a double and rbi and if it weren’t for snitker/Heyward the Braves would still be up.

Don’t blame Chipper for not scoring on Heyward’s boneheaded play

Tomahawk Mafia

That downfall started with a seemingly harmless error and snowballed into a stressful inning for Hudson. He luckily escaped it, but the Braves already have their 3 runs so they will pack up their offense for the night.

Take a look down at Gwinnett tonight: Buddy Carlyle took over in the second inning after JJ pitched is 1 inning tune up. Buddy has thrown 4 innings 2 hits 0 runs 1 walk and 7 k’s…his era is down to 2.11 now….

Falling Closer To .500

Chipper has the reflexes of a 45 year old. But we have to accept the inevitable. If the Braves managment has a chance to win with another option at 3rd or play Chipper knowing he doesn’t have it, they will continue running Chipper out at 3rd base……. whenever Chipper feels like he wants to play.

It’s more important to give Chipper his gold watch than it is to actually try to win, huh?

No personal disrespect, just disrespect for losing and losing should not be treated with respect.

Yeah I mean when he was 30 years old, he got hit in the leg by a one hopper and lost time over it because it damn near killed him! Him being in the lineup about as often as Haley’s comet shows up has nothing to do with his age does it?
