The organist is playing “Pacman” for Adam Jones because the football Adam Jones is nicknamed “Pacman”
You can’t blow two chances at easy scoring opportunities like we’ve had already and expect to win many games.
Gee, what are some of you going to do next season when you can’t make lame, tired, old Hooters jokes?
June 15th, 20129:09 pm
Jerry, again – Oh yeah… NONE of Uggla’s errors in the 2008 ASG led to runs so he didn’t give any game away to the AL. None. Not a single one. None at all. But I know you hate facts, so I’ll stop giving them to you now. LAG
It matters not whether the errors caused the NL to lose that game. He was 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts and 3 errors in 4 innings. That is an embarrassing showing. In a way, I hope he makes it again so he can prove what I’m saying.
Shouldn’t have Banked On It.
McFann :Ô: :Ô: :ô:
The ball beat the runner to the plate by several feet.
They prolly woulda got there at about the same time had he stayed back—so the runner prolly woulda tried to knock it loose a la Eric Byrnes/Shane Victorino…or maybe pulled a Chase Utley and gone for his head…
Anywasy, he didn’t really come THAT FAR up to catch it…and would it really be worth losing him when he’s getting hot just to possibly prevent one lousy June run? Not really…
June 15th, 20129:10 pm
@mlbbowman Freeman said his hand is improving. Might return to the lineup tomorrow
Not. Worth. It.
June 15th, 20129:11 pm
There’s always a target….always.
Mixxo, who hates on Bourn? Oh please, just go on troll
McFann, agree with your sentiments. It’s not worth it. Besides, McCann is absolutely raking now.
June 15th, 20129:13 pm
True. And maybe people can actually come up with something current and relevant to mock, instead of something that happened 15 years ago…
I really hope the braves don’t spend the money to resign Bourn. He strikes out way too much for a lead off hitter.
i miss anything?
Everyone in our division is losing.
I guess that’s good.
I was unaware that Matusz was a CY Young award winner.
Did anybody bring up the cursed locker today? it did its thing again with Livan Hernandez as the latest victim.
June 15th, 20129:14 pm
Livan could even get the braves out.
Yeah, I think I’m done…totally not worth the wear and tear on my neck…
Now this kid is in a groove. Seen this so many times before.
He gets on base way too much for a leadoff hitter too.
Everyone is a CY Young winner when they play the braves.
June 15th, 20129:15 pm
OK, I’ve had it with this ump…
I mentioned it earlier today after I saw someone ask you about it on twitter They should just ritualistically burn that thing…
June 15th, 20129:16 pm
TBbravesfan, with these umpires he could.
Nice double, BMac!!!
LMAO at that slide
That was close!
June 15th, 20129:17 pm
I think this is an appropriate time to order an Uggla tater. I had a small dinner.
BMAC!!!! with a funny.double.
That was a hideous slide, but totally worth it for that Mac grin
ACJ has a levitating Uggla on the homepage
….I’ll let the B-Mac double excitement subside for a sec….
There are no style points for slides in baseball!
CR – yeah we discussed it earlier…curious who has it now?
wish bigmac had done that last at bat.
June 15th, 20129:18 pm
almost as good as the slide on the triple…but not quite
Doofus(Goober and Gomer's Smart Brother)
“McFann” just got a chance to go back and look at that last photo. “Cute” as a button. Tiels are so affectionate, for birds! Know whatcha mean by “nooks and crannies” too. Have the same problem on my kitchen counter. He hides from me, and peeks out when I call his name. So dang sneaky.
LOOK at BMac! Hot as a firecracker tonite! Got a doublee’ !!!!!!
o for 5 with risp
June 15th, 20129:19 pm
Damn it, Uggla.
what better way to get over your interleague struggles than to face the Braves day/night offense
Ya gotta love that slide. No matter what you think about BMac, he always gives max effort. On that alone, I say go ahead and sign him for an extension. Just do it as minimally as you can…
Dang is this guy another Cy young contender? Seems like we have faced a lot of those this year…….
Nice job popeye.
McFann, he does have a fabulous smile, doesn’t he?
Dang it Uggly…so many wiffs
Those Simmons and Chipper at bats are haunting us now. Thanks guys
Oh, BMac was SO ADORABLE on second after that slide! Love the smile…
Guess I’m gonna be left hungry
How many are we going to leave in scoring position tonight?
June 15th, 20129:20 pm
More futility. (sigh
RISP….fail, fail, and fail again.
June 15th, 20129:21 pm
And that is your all-star second baseman folks. He has a OBP tonight of .333, but he has struck out twice and is 0 for 2. Yep, makes me want to see more of him in the all-star game.
oh boy, starting to look an awfully lot like last year.
Hope Chipper gets over his blues real quick like, or they need to sit him a few days. They cannot afford those weak roll over, rally killing DP’s from a key hitter.
June 15th, 20129:22 pm
Were in for a good losing streak we know we will not win a game against the Yankees.
June 15th, 20129:23 pm
Thanks! Yes, they are quite affectionate…sometimes it’s too much… And yeah, I just love it when they get into things—so much fun…
Yes he does!
Congratulations to Tommy on the 500th K!
June 15th, 20129:24 pm
We look like a AA squad next to the Yankees….c’mon.
Dan Uggla: 46 walks and 71 strike outs. Great ratio.
Your “F” seems to have wondered away…
Jerry – of all the things to complain about on the Braves, you’re going to complain (constantly) about Uggla going 0-2 tonight.
June 15th, 20129:25 pm
500th career K for Hanson there when he got Wieters to lead off the sixth
SO who would be your choice at 2nd? And don’t say “anyone else”
and he’s at 97 pitches after a one-out walk in the sixth
June 15th, 20129:26 pm
I love you Jerry.
Quoting a one-night OBP? That’s just reaching now…
come on DP right here lets get him through 6
Glad I could help
June 15th, 20129:27 pm
I don’t know why y’all bother.
June 15th, 20129:28 pm
(I just realized I have not said hello tonight)
June 15th, 20129:29 pm
I don’t know either. Y’all really shouldn’t feed Jerry. Tsk…
This ump blows!
I’ve already said who my choice is. Prado.
I can remember when Betemit was gonna be Chipper’s replacement according to Shanks and many fans
June 15th, 20129:30 pm
Well, Prado is not an option. He’s not a 2nd baseman anymore.
June 15th, 20129:31 pm
But we don’t need a proven starting pitcher……..okay.
We could have gotten 8 runs tonight like I forecasted; have a good one Tommy–spit on Cousins.
lets see if hanson gets tossed on the way out
give that ump a “screw you dude” stare Tommy
June 15th, 20129:32 pm
Did ya’ll see where Dusty Baker fired back at Lowe for Lowes remarks last week at DB.
Baker said Lowe may have been drinking years ago at the problem Lowe was refering Baker to. Next week they play again..lol.. Lowe had a DUI in Atlanta too.
Gotta admit I was a big Betemit fan. Don’t know about being CJ’s replacement, but I thought he was a helluva utility player.
Tommy just didn’t have it tonight, it seems.
Jerry – of all the things to complain about on the Braves, you’re going to complain (constantly) about Uggla going 0-2 tonight. jeffrey d
I know jeffrey, sounds crazy doesn’t it? It’s not like he ever goes 0 for 2, right?
June 15th, 20129:33 pm
Hanson should have gone by and kissed the ump on his way out. I once saw a relief pitcher years ago blow a kiss to an ump as he was leaving. That was hilarious. What’s he gonna do, throw him out?
I’ll take a good starter if you come up with a way to pay for him
Lowe had a DUI in Atlanta too.
No he didn’t.
Six walks for Hanson is double his previous season high.
June 15th, 20129:34 pm
No, Lowe did not have a DUI in Atlanta.
Cake walk..Capt, we’ll get’em
On a write in.
Well no one can say Tommy doesn’t care.
June 15th, 20129:35 pm
Were the charges dropped..?
“I’ll take a good starter if you come up with a way to pay for him”
The braves have at least 3-4 million to spend. I have a feeling its actually up around 6-7 mil to spend but ill give the benefit of the doubt and go on the low side.
So, there is not a single 2nd baseman, that actually has played the position this year, you would take over Uggla?
June 15th, 20129:36 pm
maybe hanson nailed ump cousin’s daughter?
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
