WHEN IS SOMEONE IN THE ATLANTA MEDIA GOING TO CALL OUT FREDI GONZALEZ FOR MAKING IDIOTIC MOVES? Venters has struggled all year, yet Fredi continues to use him in high pressure situations. Fredi should be slammed by the media after this game is over.

Took Minor out on a bullsh 100 pitch count even though he was completely cruising. Fredi G is THE WORST MANAGER IN THE MLB!!!! FIRE HIM HE IS WORTHLESS!!!!!! Is EOF hurt????? You put in a kid you just called up from Gwinnett to face the Yankees in a 4-4 game in the 8th??? You are the fattest idiot and the biggest joke of a MLB manager. Fredi made the right move taking Minor out and bringing in Venters. He shoulda pulled Jonny after the 2nd batter was walked. And why the heck do you put in Gearrin to pitch to a lefty when you have O’Flaherty available?
One good move, followed by a late/non move and a bad move.
Fredi is not the sharpest pencil in the drawer.

Venters stuff and location just isn’t the same. The guy has also lost velocity. It isn’t sinking anymore and it isn’t moving as fast. Really too bad. This is a game that we should have won. Man, I hate A-Roid.

DZ, you should know by now that Kimbrel is only allowed 12 pitches maximum. That old arm can’t handle it. Things are different now than they were in the 60s and 70s.

Maybe the Braves should be a 100 loss team for ten yrs in a row its the only way we can stop going to the games and run this team out of town like the Thrashers.

Why pull Mike Minor just because he gives up one hit with one out in the 8th?? He got 22 outs on only 4 hits. Guess giving up a hit in the 8th with a 4 run lead is enough to cause a panic attack and the need for a pitching change.
I guarantee if Fredi had left Minor in, we would be hitting right now and still winning 4-0.

Fredi is horrible. WHy not use Kimbrel against A Rod. Of course the idiot only has martinez and Gearrin warming up, thereby losing the opportunity to let Kimbrel try and get a 2 inning save.
He is so by the book that it is laughable. I hate rooting against my teams to see a coach/manager fired, but he is inexcusably bad at managing a game.

How anybody can say Fredi G made the right move by taking Minor out is beyond me. It really shows your lack of knowledge when it comes to the game of baseball. Minor was cruising and hadn’t lost any velocity in the 8th. The only reason Fredi G took him out is because he hit a B/S 100 pitch count.
Minor got an out and then gave up ONE SINGLE, ONE SINGLE, and then was pulled. No excuse that was a terrible decision. Fredi G and Fredi G alone just cost the Braves the game. He also cost us the game vs Toronto with that brain dead idiotic decision to pull Livan Hernandez in with runners on even though his ERA is terrible with runners on base almost at 5.00.
