I said 2nd and 3rd parts!
We’ve pretty much exclusively played at a tavern in Conyers, but I got us 3 gigs at a restaurant in Dacula (where I live) and I asked my singing friend who I’ve played with many a time (mostly at church events) to play a couple songs with us. She’s got an incredible voice. I was thinking we’d open a set with me and her singing “You and Tequila” and then thhe whole band doing “Need You Now”

Sucks that REV has to play behind that tonight, but I guess it ain’t any different than Minor
LOL, “REV”’s error with two out in the 5th led to 4 unearned runs. Doesn’t change the fact that JJ got pounded, of course. Hopefully he was just working on his ephus pitch or something.

Well no game for 2 days….got a need for a fix and MLB network is not the Braves….the new SS appears to be a nice addition….I will miss the Rev even though he was about the roughest fielding MLB SS I have ever seen….here’s hoping no more –streaks in June, well there’s going to be some and they better be the 2-3 gamers at the most as this team just has to be better than that ugly 8-gamer.

For anyone who has ever driven on the expressways around the ATL, they are opening a new Interchange at I-285 and Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. Monday and it’s very futuristic. According to Jeff Schultz’s just-posted column on Jair, he was actually extremely sick today, but decided not to tell anyone on the Gwinnett coaching staff because he was afraid it would be held against him if he missed the start.
Guess that kinda backfired on him. I doubt it would have been held against him as much as what his line, in the event, turned out to be.
Everyone seems to think his problem is mainly confidence at this point. Hard to say he’s wrong when he says he thinks the Braves have just decided they don’t want him, though. Wonder why?

I don’t think they’ll release JJ just yet. A couple unforeseen injuries to the rotation (God forbid), and JJ will be back up as a fill in starter before they promote Teheran, I’d wager.
