I was screaming for Durbin’s head after the first couple of weeks of the season. He was pathetic! He was a rally for the opposition when he entered the game!
Hate to say it but I agree with Jason. Durbin is pitching pretty well of late while Venters is pathetic and EOF is up one day and down the next.
Where is Cory Gearin? I liked that dude, he was pretty good most times. Nothing all that special, but had a lot of Moylan in him and thre harder. Oh and he’s from my parts
bunting Bourn here is huge. Pastornicky is fast but with Bourn running to first the fielder has really no time to try and decide to throw to first or make an attempt at second
CaptMudd – the only thing between me and a knee replacement is 25 miles a day on my bicycle. I can feel the stiffness and range of motion reducing after about 2 days of not riding.
I went for a month last year to New Smyrna Beach. I bought a month pass to Cape Canaveral National Seashore and rode that entire park area every day. That is one of the most undiscovered parts of Florida I can think of. All of that land around Cape Canaveral is obviously undeveloped but then you have Mosquito Lagoon and Merritt Island to name a couple.
I’ll go back there again late this fall to enjoy some temperature changes.
Just an upset stomach – VJ, God bless him, took her out twice at 4:00 & 5:00 this morning…I was up from around 2:00 until about 6:00 and had to be up at 7:15 to go to the gym…long night
Hey-Bust has to have to the biggest hole in his swing I’ve ever seen…then top it off he might have the slowest bat in the bigs…I just dont see him being anymore than a bench player…hopefully I’m wrong and he figures it out
I agree with the bunt but lets make the pitcher finally throw a strike – he might have walked Prado which would have also moved the runners into scoring position without giving up an out.
Prado could have bunted after the pitcher threw him a strike.
