Whew! Edge of your seat stuff there.
Just get out of the inning with the lead. Captain K will take care of the rest.
huge strikeout there
May 30th, 20129:33 pm
Might need Craig to get a 4-out save.
Going to the 9th with the lead…that’s a good thing!
We might be getting a top RP somewhere before all is said and done. Everybody as been average or below other than Kimbrel.
May 30th, 20129:34 pm
think we are guing to have to score 9 or 10 runs every game to maybe win.
Losing Furcal is still hurting the Braves.
That was close….
Nice job, EOF?
@cabravesfan…How you doing tonight? Tough one fro Huddy, but Braves win will be soothing.
I was screaming for Durbin’s head after the first couple of weeks of the season. He was pathetic! He was a rally for the opposition when he entered the game!
Hate to say it but I agree with Jason. Durbin is pitching pretty well of late while Venters is pathetic and EOF is up one day and down the next.
May 30th, 20129:35 pm
This entire pitching staff sucks right now.
I’m OK. Tired. How ’bout you?
yeah cab, we are still winning, however tedious that might be.
May 30th, 20129:36 pm
Where is Cory Gearin? I liked that dude, he was pretty good most times. Nothing all that special, but had a lot of Moylan in him and thre harder. Oh and he’s from my parts
The last time EOF gave up a run was on May 7th.
Our pitching really has gone to hell this season.
Just not used to seeing this yet.
Hope Kimbrel is Durbinesque tonight….lol
May 30th, 20129:37 pm
How is winning tedious?
May 30th, 20129:38 pm
@cabravesfan…yea, tired due to overwork at the new house and, of course, the southern heat/humidity.
i hope kimbrel is kimbrelesque
May 30th, 20129:39 pm
That’s a good reason to be tired I was up all night with a crying dog
bunting Bourn here is huge. Pastornicky is fast but with Bourn running to first the fielder has really no time to try and decide to throw to first or make an attempt at second
CaptMudd – the only thing between me and a knee replacement is 25 miles a day on my bicycle. I can feel the stiffness and range of motion reducing after about 2 days of not riding.
I went for a month last year to New Smyrna Beach. I bought a month pass to Cape Canaveral National Seashore and rode that entire park area every day. That is one of the most undiscovered parts of Florida I can think of. All of that land around Cape Canaveral is obviously undeveloped but then you have Mosquito Lagoon and Merritt Island to name a couple.
I’ll go back there again late this fall to enjoy some temperature changes.
Applesauce dude has loose start
of course walking Bourn was nice as well
May 30th, 20129:40 pm
Gearrin and his 0.91 ERA are stuck at AAA.
I love Fredi bunting Prado there and Prado’s willingness and ability to bunt. Perfect
bases loaded 1 out. Got to get something here
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
May 30th, 20129:41 pm
goin’ for the Uggla DP
Gearrin has struggled int he majors at times, but I’m thinking he will be called up after the Nats series when the team sends Boscan back down…
that will do just fine!!!
way to go Uggla
Why do you bunt the first pitch after 8 straight balls?
At least take a strike.
Yay! Sac fly!!
That will work…getting that run in is the most important thing
May 30th, 20129:42 pm
Ok, what happeend to the real Uggla…he goes oppo-field again???
@Key…sounds very stimulating and, a boost to your cardio training program I would assume–challenging:)
Freeman went for HR number 2 there. Felt the breeze in NC with that swing
opposite field fly ball by Uggly to foil their dastardly plan
Uggla tries to make up for the goof up….
Yeah- I mean, it’s not like it was flawless or anything
2K91, bc it got two runners into scoring position, both of which have now scored
single works well to Freddie – great to have him back!!!!
May 30th, 20129:43 pm
Love it!!! Our team is back.
And now comes Wayward, the rally killer
shows how strong freddie is there – inside pitch, hands pulled in and still got it out into RF
Kudos to the Skipper
I think any questions about why Freddie was struggling after the Colorado series have been answered.
Chip couldn’t even tell it was a hit til it bounced….
Must be into the booze.
looks like a good crowd there tonight. What is the attendence – I missed it?
Joe in SoCal (not as miffed)
May 30th, 20129:44 pm
Freddie..just a triple shy tonight..welcome back kid.
Wayward to kill the rally….
May 30th, 20129:45 pm
@Brava…Bravo, we are back and, we got this one.
Heyward is awful.
I hate it when folks pile on, but even I gotta admit that Jason looks really lost in a lot of his at bats
May 30th, 20129:46 pm
Well done, FF.
We sure need him and Mac to help fill in the cavern in the lineup that is Jason…
Three words: Jason Heyward: Bust.
someone had to make an out there so kimbrel gets the save
Would Jason benefit from a AAA stint? He looks lost.
nice inning by the bravos right there…put the heat right back on ‘em.
@cabravesfan….What happened to the pooch which led to this episode you spoke of earlier via post?
May 30th, 20129:47 pm
no walks please….no walks
May 30th, 20129:48 pm
We are “Free–Man” of that poor streak…onward Bravos, onward with vigor!
Just an upset stomach – VJ, God bless him, took her out twice at 4:00 & 5:00 this morning…I was up from around 2:00 until about 6:00 and had to be up at 7:15 to go to the gym…long night
May 30th, 20129:49 pm
Kimmie knew that was a strike
Oh sit down Freese, that pitch was right in there….
May 30th, 20129:50 pm
Kimbrel…froze him…he be Freesed!!!
May 30th, 20129:51 pm
1 more Kimbrel – looking great so far
Kimbrel is nasty again tonight…
Ric Flair to Right
Hey-Bust has to have to the biggest hole in his swing I’ve ever seen…then top it off he might have the slowest bat in the bigs…I just dont see him being anymore than a bench player…hopefully I’m wrong and he figures it out
Kimbrel is a beast.
Minor versus Strasburg – why should I be concerned?
thats the kid we know and love…put this baby to bed!
I agree with the bunt but lets make the pitcher finally throw a strike – he might have walked Prado which would have also moved the runners into scoring position without giving up an out.
Prado could have bunted after the pitcher threw him a strike.
May 30th, 20129:52 pm
That slider should be outlawed…that was wicked…lol
Wow- the Mariners are up 17-0 (NOT a typo) over the Rangers in the 5th inning
I will say it again – stick with the heater!!
May 30th, 20129:53 pm
Way to field that one with your purse, Hack…
who is at SS now??? Seriously?? Come on Jack
Again, why do we even bother to run Pastornicky or Wilson out there?
If this is not the worst defensive infield that I have ever seen, it sure does a great impression…
May 30th, 20129:54 pm
that;s OK Kimbrel – I know you wanted to strike out the side!!!
Send Kimbrel to AAA….
Stretch him out.
Start him every game. Complete games. He can do it. No one else seems to be able other than Durbin.
Calling Andrellton Simmons!!!!
Minor is getting skipped over last i heard
Braves win! All is right again in Braves Country.
he bailed us out there – that was ball 3
Hack looks at the ground as if the ground caused that pathetic play at short…..
Give us a break.
May 30th, 20129:55 pm
ballgame…nice job takin the series…
Starting to agree with that statement, TNScott…
A win! 2 straight.
Nice job boys
