This game is totally winnable, but it would require an offense being capable of hitting something against a struggling pitcher… which, by the looks of it, is very unlikely tonight… That last inning by the Braves was sad.

I’ll leave now.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen at the big league level a more mentaly week player than Mike Minor! he has no fight, no back bone what so ever…..He just stop fighting

Wow, the Braves really suck on Monday. This guy has an ERA around 5.80 and the Braves are making him look like Roy Halladay!

Minor needs more time in the Minors

Time to do one of the following:
Bring up Buddy Carlyle for the bullpen and let Kris Medlen start
or
Bring up Todd Redmunds

The Braves offense tonight knows it’s fate….it’s not on them. This Minor era is sinking the entire line-up with each passing appearance. It needs to end.

I get sick of this idea that when a player doesn’t execute like he should and has been coached to all of a sudden it’s the coaches fault. Stupid idea.

“At what point is Gonzalez just throwing away the season with Minor ? ”

Hard to call it “throwing away the season” when they are still 10 gam

This team also had a double digit wild card game lead late in last season. Wouldn’t say we are throwing away the season just yet but it’s never to early to make adjustments with this team. It’s not fair to the team nor to Minor for Freddi to keep “running him out there” till he figures it out.

Comparing Minor to Glavine is comparing apples and oranges. First of all, Glavine pitched his home games in a much more hitter-friendly park. Secondly, Glavine played on an atrociously bad team that was notorious for its poor defense.

Why not compare Minor to the other young arms in the organization currently, like Beachy, Medlen and Delgado? Right now, they’re all vastly outperforming him.

If there is a worst pitcher than Mike Minor in major league baseball, I’d like to know who it is. Why this guy has a major league uniform is amazing. Fredi sits on his fat behind, and trots him out there every 5th day. 4 HR’s and one from their pitcher. Amazing. Minor is totally worthless. No command at all. What a bust. They can’t send him down to AAA, because he isn’t good enough to pitch there. What a total waste. And tomorrow, Fredi the Idiot will spin it with, he just had a couple pitches that found too much of the plate…and “He’s young”…”We’ll just keep trotting him out there” What total crap! Especially when there are options for the Braves, without a worthless Mike Minor. Medlen could start. Tehren could come up from AAA. Anything is better than the crap Mike Minor brings to the ball park. What a waste. The worst part is, Fredi will continue with him, an automatic loss every 5 days. What a joke of a manager. Fredi has the brains of a baseball. Keep trottin’ ‘em out there Fredi. That will allow you to trot out of Atlanta, and the sooner the better.

Minor is not getting “lit up”. He’s not consistent with his ability to hit corners and keep it down. When he does that, he’s fine. Weak HRs mean batting practice pitches. You’ll notice that Minor is missing McCann’s setup again and again. This is just a plain control problem. He’s not getting lit up. He’s a damn kid. I would have him in AAA just to learn. He doesn’t belong in the rotation until he solves his control problem.
