First hr for Leake but he’s a good hitter. .270 career batting average. He hit .333 in 2010 and was hitting .333 before this game. If you’re gonna give it up to a pitcher, Leake’s not the worst guy in the world to get hit by.

No way you can keep Minor in a rotation on a team that has playoff expectations.
Glavine was on a bad team his first year and in his second yr he figured it out, and the 89 Braves were not so great.
Maddux also figured it out in his second full MLB yr with the 89 Cubs.
Minor is so much like Jo Jo Reyes its like they were cloned.
The Braves do not need any more lefties, look what flops that Jo Jo and Minor are.

It’s games like these that make me flip flop on where Meds has more value. It is nice to have at least a chance to win every 5th day. We don’t have that now. Call up Gearrin and move Meds to the rotation…after he is stretched out.

At what point is Gonzalez just throwing away the season with Minor ? Nothing against the kid but what does he see in him ? He’s never actly like he has the makeup, I think I can see his lower lip quiver when he struggles. More to the point he doesn’t have the kind of stuff to warrent confidence in my opinion. He looks weak in every way.

Oswalt will not be signed.
4 and 5 will have to be hashed out between Minor, Delgado, JJ and Teheran.
I do believe we are at the Teheran portion of the program.

Glavine at his worst that rookie yr was no where near as bad a Minor is.
Glaving at least had some competitive fight in him, this Minor has zilch and Minor is on such a better team.
I hate Minor (as a pitcher) and want him DFAed ASAP.

You are right nolie. I don’t think any of us expected Minor to pitch any differently than he is right now. The difference to me is that I thought we would make it a good game by kicking Leake around, but that is not happening.

History would suggest that when it comes to pitching the Braves know a thing or two, but when it comes to Minor it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep that in mind.

It will be Livan starting if Minor gets booted from the rotation. Medlen is too key in the setup role in the bullpen and Teheran is not pitching that well in triple A either.
