monty Then he pitched in August and blew out his elbow. Coincidence?

yes, unless youre suggested that he completely blew out his elbow in 18 days. but, no doubt he was jerked around some. he did get jerked around a little bit, but i dont buy that it caused his injury. anyways, i thinks its more likely that jurrjens or tehran get called up than medlen making more than a spot start. we STILL have pitching depth, even though some baseball people are scoffing at that now.

the truth is we have 5 starters in the majors, 3 in our bullpen, and 2 in the minors who can pitch here.

From Today in Baseball history:
1998 – Brian Cox went 6-for-6, including a grand slam in a 10-run third inning, as Florida State rolled past Delaware 27-6 in the NCAA Atlantic II Regional. Freshman Matt Diaz hit three home runs for the Seminoles.

Oh, yes I do, Bat!

He has gotten an 0-1 count in 73 of his 166 PAs (44%)

NL average is 49%.

Ha, thanks, Brian.

I kinda figured it was just me.

I hate all politics but have to say the Obama staff is brilliant. They have distracted America and it’s media with all the homosexual debates, taking attention off bigger issues in our country. People are losing their homes, jobs, businesses are closing, our health care is still uncertain but it’s important to focus on gay rights. Makes sense to me.

I see the pain coming again in the form of a worn out bullpen. I hope i’m wrong, the pattern is the same as last year so far. The only thing missing is the cap tipping!!!!

If the clowns on Intentional Talk weren’t annoying enough, they just did a story about how teams are going overboard with the Chipper tributes, and they don’t get the point.

They embarrass themselves enough with that show by masquerading as baseball insiders. Apparently now they are event planners too.

When Heyward is 65, are the apologists still going to be saying give him more time, he is young, blah blah blah.

Its about results and this BUMB is not giving them. He deerves to be Booed.

He is a platoon type of guy, when he is 28 he will be a part time player, journeyman type.

When you put together a computer system, one piece of standard equipment you’ll probably buy is a surge protector. Most designs serve one immediately obvious function — they let you plug multiple components into one power outlet. With all of the different components that make up a computer system, this is definitely a useful device…
