I’ve heard that rumor about Freddie’s D, but I think a first sacker that can dig em out as well as FF does is incredibly important to the D of the infield. Range at first is a tad bit overrated.

Hey Wayne, yesterday Beth was doing an interview and Homer passed behind her and was checking her out. The day before Nikky Williams, who was a Falcons cheerleader and now works for 680am said that Homer was checking out her butt. Homer is a bit of a horn toad I think.

Actually, I used to use Proton once in a while, when the old blog would start getting a bit negative. But if I did that now, I’d never be DS1 again!
And WAY back in the day, I would come on late at night and have conversations with myself as old washed up major leagers (don’t even remember the names I used now, but it was old washed up Braves outfielders…….)
But it’s too damned much trouble to keep changing back and forth. But I will not pirate somebody elses’ moniker. (unless someone paid me WELL to do it!)

I love my kid…but some things he does makes me love him even more
we are watching the game and he is naming the batters for the braves…tyler comes up and here is the conversation:
him: daddy who is that

him: hmmm I don’t remember him was he on the team last year?
me: no he wasn’t
him: (now looking in the book)daddy I found the braves girls

Yeah Wayne, before Freddie came along, I would have been hard pressed to ever say a first baseman would have been the most important piece. Freddie is just that damn good, especially defensively. And I think Fredi believes it also when he decided to have Wilson play short with Hinske at 1st base.

I don’t know if Pastornicky is just nervous out in the field, or is he is really that inconsistent. But as long as we are winning, we can deal with him. But if this offense starts to falter, it’s going to be hard to live with his gaffes.

Then we should combined our skills. I was the exact opposite. I could hit like it was nobody’s business, but there was no point in me wearing a glove because I couldn’t catch nothing.
Unfortunately, there was no DH back then. I just pinch hit.
And I’m not hating on Homer. I’ve been know to almost break my neck turning around to catch a glance.
