I’m not an insider with a wealth of first hand knowledge of how the Braves work, but I do know how to run a business and you have to sit down and make plans on your actions when things go wrong or at least not how you expected.
With that said I would bet my last dollar that Frank Wren does not have any plans to trade for or pick up a veteran pitcher like Oswalt or Dempster and pay them several million dollars. Not when he traded Derek Lowe and gave the Indians $10 M to help pay his salary. He will go with the pitching he brung to the dance.
