Hey, I’m willing to suffer through it if it means getting BMac back on track…
Uh-oh, somebody made contact! Take Hanson out!!
but you woulda been serious Mitchell…
strikeouts are nice, but popups on the 3rd pitch are better.
May 13th, 20123:06 pm
Pitch count sky rocketing. 43 through 2.
May 13th, 20123:07 pm
I think it’s his fluffy hair, McFann.
I know McCann would like to be out there.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms on here and out there. And I’m not referring to the mothers like Mitchell, Veer, Phil, Mixxo, George, et al.
you lump me in what bunch? Gee, thanks. To hell with you too.
May 13th, 20123:12 pm
Molina is not playing.
Prado came to play…
May 13th, 20123:13 pm
Oh, that was a low blow…
Yes, he would. He’d play every day if they let him…
Lynn looks larger than Laura Lynn from the syrup bottles…
What a lardo…
May 13th, 20123:14 pm
I have been really pleased with Prado’s work this season. He looks much better on the field in all facets this season compared to the latter portion of 2011.
pitching around Freddie after the passed ball
May 13th, 20123:15 pm
Come on Uggla, you dummy.
May 13th, 20123:16 pm
I never pointed out the balding, McFann! Kidding
May 13th, 20123:17 pm
Don’t K, Dan the Man Uggla!
Good to see Chipper in the dugout trying to help FG realize what’s going on….
May 13th, 20123:18 pm
I’d take this Lynn kid…
This umpiring crew is taking the day off, even though they are at the ballpark. They must all be mothers. The do have female umps in the majors now don’t they? If not, I’m surprised. That’s got to be next. BTW, now that I brought it up. That lady that broadcasts some SEC football games drives me crazy. I have to “mute” the sound.
Come on Dan.
May 13th, 20123:19 pm
Trey, what’s the good word?
good AB, Uggs
BB, time for The J-Hey Kid.
The do have female umps in the majors now don’t they? …I..
watch a lot of baseball, do ya?
May 13th, 20123:20 pm
The Braves have worked wonderful at bats this entire season. What a great chance from last season’s impatient approach.
The rally killer, Wayward, strides to the plate…
Third base. icky.
nolie, I’d take Lynn too. Even though it has been a grind today, he looks like the real deal.
lets go heyward, get some runs in
May 13th, 20123:21 pm
hitta homer Heyman…
Can we please not leave the bases loaded again.
That would be great.
How about you just beat out an infield single, Jason?
What’ya say? How’s that sound?
Or a hit.
With a pink bat….sigh.
May 13th, 20123:22 pm
make him throw strikes we will take a walk.
Don’t K, J-Hey.
May 13th, 20123:23 pm
It rests on you, Heyward. It’s your big moment. The biggest moment you will ever have! At least, until your next at bat.
yeah looks like he has pretty good stuff. needs to tighten up the command and get more efficient , but we see that in most younguns
May 13th, 20123:24 pm
Come on Jason.
Git a hit already.
Way to work him…
FRankie – Just responding to someone’s statements about them getting healthy. But they are not my words, Dude, they all came from Ruben Amaro, Jr. and the Philly press. I made no comment one way or another based on my own thoughts. However, even if they do get healthy, they are 6.5 games out of the division lead. At the same time last year, with only Utley out, they were leading the division by 3 games with Utley coming back in nine or ten days.
I will say that it looks like it might be a bit tougher for them to come back this year, though. The Nats are for real, apparently..
May 13th, 20123:25 pm
boy, this has been a long game already. lots of pitches by both teams.
A great AB….really impressive.
Now get a hit!
HELL YES, HEYWARD!!!
May 13th, 20123:26 pm
That should shut up some folks barking about Heyward.
That was beautiful.
way to go jason, thats the way to do it .
great at bat, kid seems to be tiring a bit.
Nice job not allowing it to bounce over the wall…
One of the best at bats of his younf career, right there. Might have been THE best!
Great job. Keep using the pink bat.
The A Bomb
I don’t want to hear anything else about HEYWARD.
Idiot from Sacramento — where are you and shut the heck up.
JHey Kid likes him some Cardinals pitching.
Incredible at bat by Heyward.
impressive hit by Heyward. Big, clutch hit
Nolie, as a matter of fact, yes, watch a lot, and all the Braves games for years now. Just figured they had snuck a few in on us, since it’s hard to tell nowdays.
May 13th, 20123:27 pm
Terrific AB by Heyward.
my man Jason!!
that was a rocket
First time Lynn has given up more than 1 run in an inning (in case that was not mentioned on the broadcast I’m not watching)…
May 13th, 20123:28 pm
Francisco needs some more ABs on a consistant basis. He was getting them earlier and the season and his true ability was showing
With one swing Heyward drove in more runs (3) than Lynn had allowed in any of his first six starts, all wins.
We need a better replacement for Chipper than Fransisco.
Jason did strike out 4 times last night, the bum.
That was a Big League AB right there.
May 13th, 20123:29 pm
Francisco is worthless….
AGH!! NO MORE “SWAP YOUR RIDE”!! AAAAGH……
All this with 2 outs, nicely done Martin to start it all off
what true ability? he got lucky and ran into a few
May 13th, 20123:30 pm
So damn funny — seeing most of your posts….
It used to be Wayward, Hurtward etc…..
I forgot what I was going to say.
Anyway, good job Jason.
He came through, didn’t he?
May 13th, 20123:31 pm
who with the Wayward?
Jay-Hey – what a quick bat the kid has. He’s just scratching the surface of his potential.
Chipper interview on TBS…
May 13th, 20123:32 pm
Hard to believe we’re only in the bottom of the third. Both pitchers are getting close (or past) the normal half-way point (50 pitches).
May 13th, 20123:33 pm
Tommy musta been trying to kill that bird that flew overhead with that one….
lets see how quickly Furcal runs here
May 13th, 20123:34 pm
Heyward’s one swing got the Braves more runs (three) than Lynn had allowed in any of his first six starts. all wins.
May 13th, 20123:35 pm
May 13th, 2012
Whatever you say, nolie.
Whatevr you say.
I told most of you mensas 2 years ago and until this very day that Jason Heyward is the new Willie McCovey. No one has backed this guy more than I have and I’m the only one around here who compared him to ANYONE.
See McCovey….1960….1961….1962….exploded in 1963. Age 25. Heyward is 22. But many of you wanted him gone because you’re young and you have no historic reference points.
Now maybe some will listen and compare. Heyward’s a player and he’s ours. Damn good.
May 13th, 20123:36 pm
well, you woulda been. I bet everybody here thinks so too
May 13th, 20123:37 pm
The A Bomb
May 13th, 2012
yep. Your point?
on the short hop no less – great play Freeman
May 13th, 20123:38 pm
nice play Freddie. He’s alright going to his left. Not so hot going to his right. Can’t complain though, if that’s the weakest part of his game, he should be just fine.
Lance Lynn doesn’t look like a 6 game winner or the top ERA guy in the NL.
This is what happens when you face real hitters and not the weak Central division hitters.
Also Cardinals are realzing what it is like to play Contenders unlike all the pretenders that they have dominated in the Central.
May 13th, 20123:39 pm
if the bottom of the order can avoid a quick inning, it me Lynn’s last. Getting to the bullpen in the 5th usually works out well.
I’m a Mensa, he’s a Mensa,
She’s a Mensa, we’re a Mensa,
Wouldn’t you like to be a Mensa, too?
Jump. That gun a few more times, ok?
Maybe one day…but cool the jets for now.
May 13th, 20123:40 pm
Great job, Rossy!
May 13th, 20123:41 pm
Lynn did beat the Brewers, but, its true that since then, he has beaten the Cubs and Bucs twice each.
Ya alright, David?
Dude, he’s got 3 doubles already? Dang…
