I have been really pleased with Prado’s work this season. He looks much better on the field in all facets this season compared to the latter portion of 2011.
This umpiring crew is taking the day off, even though they are at the ballpark. They must all be mothers. The do have female umps in the majors now don’t they? If not, I’m surprised. That’s got to be next. BTW, now that I brought it up. That lady that broadcasts some SEC football games drives me crazy. I have to “mute” the sound.
FRankie – Just responding to someone’s statements about them getting healthy. But they are not my words, Dude, they all came from Ruben Amaro, Jr. and the Philly press. I made no comment one way or another based on my own thoughts. However, even if they do get healthy, they are 6.5 games out of the division lead. At the same time last year, with only Utley out, they were leading the division by 3 games with Utley coming back in nine or ten days.
I will say that it looks like it might be a bit tougher for them to come back this year, though. The Nats are for real, apparently..
Nolie, as a matter of fact, yes, watch a lot, and all the Braves games for years now. Just figured they had snuck a few in on us, since it’s hard to tell nowdays.
I told most of you mensas 2 years ago and until this very day that Jason Heyward is the new Willie McCovey. No one has backed this guy more than I have and I’m the only one around here who compared him to ANYONE.
See McCovey….1960….1961….1962….exploded in 1963. Age 25. Heyward is 22. But many of you wanted him gone because you’re young and you have no historic reference points.
