We are a force. Just reading the Cardinal players quotes and the manager and pitcher say our lineup is a nightmare to face because they’re wearing pitchers down by grinding out at bats regardless of the outs and whatever. There’s big time repsect these two teams have for each other.

It’s amazing what is obviously a thorough hitting instructor can grind in the minds of a hitter, especially the younger ones. You didn’t see this approach consistantly the last several years with the Braves hitters. It was “see it and hit it”. I always will like Cox, but there was more than once I remember him saying those exact words to a reporter. No sir. Pitchers can and will eat hitters alive with that mentality.

The Braves new that they had starters who could not go as deep in games as one would like. Thus, they got Livan, Medlen and Martinez in the bullpen to have multiple multi-inning options out there. Yes, it would be good to get the starters going deeper, but they have a pen that is built to pick up some of that slack.

Minor seems to be a 4 inning pitcher as to where he is pure filthy in the 1st 4 innings but then he gets lit up aroung inning 5.

No way. Livan is great for this role and he’s grown into it and accepted it.
JJ, Teheran and even Medlin could be candidates, but, I would not pull the plug on Minor… just yet.
The stuff is there, he just needs to turn the corner in his head. Oh, and spot the freaking fastball.

nolie, that’s fine. God’s honest truth is that I don’t know of anybody who doesn’t like me at work or wherever. At least they sure put on a oscar winning act to my face if they dont like me. I’m just what you see is what you get and people know that.

I will admit that keylargo is right in that I may be a cynical person, but I’ve had a lot of dirt happen to me and have actually handled it well and without saying it to the people forgave them. HA and I work in a retail store and deal with scum customers and a boss who can be a character or five if ya know what I mean. Two faced. That’s fine, that’s the world.

VIETNAM era M 42 tank tracks with the turret removed and a twin 40 mm gun mount inserted. Add 1/4″ armor and a double box full of grenades, 40 mm ammo, extra fuel, and a 50 cal with ammo and you get the general idea of the situation. For real? I’m tryin’ to go along, but there’s this small issue that a computer is the only way I’ll ever know you. How do we reconcile that? Seems to me, if the collective thinks you read like a fool, there’s a real good chance you’re a fool. Quacks like a duck, and all that.
Plus, I gotta say, I’m the opposite of tiger. Two years ago, I lumped you in with the Jeff321’s of the blogosphere. I feel you’re darn near readable nowadays. Not always, though, for sure. I’m not tryin’ to get you started on Ryan Howard’s nose, for instance.
