I often hear commentary on how well the Nats are doing from people who never mention that they are definitely not running away…

How many times were bases loaded and the Braves bats wimped out? And what’s with Jason? Whiff, whiff, whiff, whiff.
Again Braves get a lucky win against a still recovering Wainwright.

I’m pretty sure one of the Cards beat writers is going to write an article that implies that it was no disgrace to lose a series to these Braves. He’ll be right – these Braves are pretty good. IIf the opposition pitching shows any weakness, these guys get their hits and walks in bunches. The Cards ran into Buzzsaw Beachy too.
But some knuckleheads will complain about that being a losing attitude.

Leg buckled – sounds like an ACL/MCL injury. Didnt they have a pretty decent backup though?

Flores is a decent backup, but doesn’t have 15-20HR power.

I haven’t seen such a patient Braves lineup like this. I couldn’t watch the game tonight, so I don’t know if Wainwright was just missing or really wild.

I was shocked that Adam Kilgore, who is an excellent beat writer for the Washington Post, opened the Nats story:
Even as they surged further into first place Saturday night, the Washington Nationals may have pushed closer to their breaking point.

Why do these $5.00 Ga Lotto scratchers {20X} always just have a $1.00 in the box when I hit the 20X feature….it can’t ever be a 5 or 10? I think I now know what Huddy went through in Chicago.

I just hope his involvement with the Phillies doesn’t come back to bite us in the ass. You know he is taunting them and usually when he does that, things end up backfiring.

Hello everyone! Great win! Enjoyed it very much, but there’s a good pitcher pitching tomorrow, and the Braves still have a battle to go up against. Let’s hope with patience, and timely hitting the Braves can do that again? Well done today.
