Hi Tommy,

I got the “hello, how are you” part yesterday, but could not find a translation for the rest.

How would you say “Go Braves” ?

DOB, just messing with you. If you scroll up you’ll see I took up your side of an argument earlier. See, DOB and DetroitBraves are tight. Even tighter than DetroitBraves and Jeff Schultz, who I’m fairly certain ate my sandwich.

I tried to use an internet translator for Tommy’s messages to me but it’s almost 3:00 on Friday and it’s taking all I can do to just hit the refresh button on this site at this point.

Only in Atlanta does the sports culture allow a way for the fans and the beat writers to try to convince themselves that losing a series to a last place team with a .419 winning percentage is acceptable

@Robert, if everyone agrees that losing 2 of 3 to the Cubs in May is unacceptable what do you propose the Braves do next? I imagine if something is unacceptable action is warranted. What action do you propose?

@Tommy, nah. That doesn’t seem very likely. Sounds like you are having as much trouble with your internet translator as am I. Don’t worry about. Friday afternoons are hard.

@Tommy, in all seriousness is Shin-Soo Choo a big deal in S. Korea like Ichiro is in Japan? Actually, what do people in S. Korea think of Choo managing to not do his military service?

If this is the same old Robert, I suppose he would propose firing Bobby Cox.

“Sayonara” is not the same.

Tommy

Some use it and some do not. Sayonara is used in Korea by the middle class and up. My family uses it. Since you are such an authority, why dont you come to Korea and we will teach you. If you are capable. Tell me what I said to you,if you are such an authority. Tell me about the differences in culture. You can not because you do not know. Sayonara is used in both countries. It depends on which part of Korea you are in and what society.
