How many rockets has Freddie hit that have been caught? I think we are up to 3…
May 8th, 20129:34 pm
This is a good point to say that if you missed the Gattis story in the spring, you’ll want to read it. … slap this into your browser: http://blogs.ajc.com/atlanta-braves-blog/2012/02/29/braves-slugger-gattis-has-a-story-man-does-he-ever/ – DOB
And for those of you fictional characters looking for an after hours, off the beaten track blog to engage in your shenanigans, you might want to go to the last page and carry on.
Freddie having some bad luck lately…has hit some balls hard but right at people.
Zooey Deschanel should quit while she’s ahead… if that means she’ll get off my TV faster…
May 8th, 20129:36 pm
If FF weren’t entering a sophmore slump, those would’ve been hits….
When FF’s kneecap is attached, he’s a BEAST!
May 8th, 20129:37 pm
Let’s snap out of this sedate melodrama; we’re not here to tickle the masseur.
May 8th, 20129:39 pm
How did Mac reach?
An act of God?
May 8th, 20129:40 pm

May 8th, 20129:42 pm
I hate to say this folks but there is no way we are going to win this game 1-0.
Mc Cann is just big boned.
Hawks up by 4? Does not compute.
send the old bumb down
May 8th, 20129:43 pm
Chipper is out of options….
wow, Rod Bajaras with the walk off HR in Pittsburgh.
May 8th, 20129:44 pm
Mac just has a slow metabolism
May 8th, 20129:45 pm
And a slow bat….
And poor vision.
May 8th, 20129:46 pm
AJ Burnett just put a huge shaving cream pie on Barajas
Slow metabolism = ballgame?
May 8th, 20129:47 pm
PIT beat WSH
Zooey Deschanel in for the Hawks. Her job is to slow Paul Pierce with her funky quirky ways.
May 8th, 20129:48 pm
I kinda like Zooey’s sister
May 8th, 20129:49 pm
I like Zooey’s sister too (not like that!)…but I also like Zooey (she’s grin on me…)
May 8th, 20129:50 pm
No. Mac’s just big boned.
May 8th, 20129:51 pm
Rondo on endo. Celts down by 11.
May 8th, 20129:52 pm
No. Mac just eats way too much.
But i love him all the same.
The Cubbies WANT this.
big boned with a slow metabolism, big thighs and butt, thick waits. prototypical endomorph
May 8th, 20129:53 pm
Damn. Good fight by RD. One pitch away from getting out of the inning. Have to give Soriano some credit there.
Not a fan of Delgado at this point.
May 8th, 20129:54 pm
Real nice performance by Delgado. He did some serious pitching tonight. Shame he’s not going to get a win, and just hope for his sake this run doesn’t score.
huh? the kid pitched a great game
A big boy regardless.
May 8th, 20129:55 pm
Campana is a FIERCE FORCE!
Good start Delgado. Sorry that Bourn, Freeman, McCann and Chipper LET YOU DOWN!
Would’ve been nice to see Delgado get a win with the nice job he did tonight. Now the bullpen needs to make sure he doesn’t lose it.
yeah, Tom’s brother, Thick
May 8th, 20129:56 pm
EOF in, Braves lose again.
The best word I can think of to describe this offense is “fragile”. The slightest movement or action from anyone and anything can spook it.
Beltran launches his 9th first inning. What a pickup and perfect fit for the Cards.
Not a fan of EOF at this point.
May 8th, 20129:57 pm
2 great starts in a row from Randy.
good job O’
The sleeping Giant Moyer woke up on Saturday stayed in Colorado, I’m guessing?
Stewart groundout ends inning, Delgado allowed 1 run, 3 hits, 3 walks with 5 K in 5-2/3 innings. Strong performance.

After his last two games, what does he have to do to please you?
Hi Nick. Where’ve you been? Oh, that’s right…the Braves were winning…
Just ban this fool.
As for the elbow itself? “I felt something, but I didn’t know it was his actual head,” World Peace told O’Brien.
Frankie, yup, he sure would have looked good in a Braves uni. I wanted Beltran this offseason…big time. Oh well, this ofense is doing pretty good…well, except the last couple of games. But, we are NOT losing this game.
“After his last two games, what does he have to do to please you?”
sure wish Carlos was playin’ here
All I can say is Fruti has balls to bring in EFO in that situation, wroked out fine though.
Good evening bloggers. I see that Delgado had himself a nice start. Let’s get those bats going!!!
Not a fan of EOF after last year’s effort?
May 8th, 20129:58 pm
Tom after a dentist visit.
Ian Stewart, “The Year of the Cub?”
May 8th, 20129:59 pm
Yeah…what a horrible job by Delgado. I can’t believe he gave up ONE run in 5 2/3. FIRE HIM!!
May 8th, 201210:00 pm
Hawks go up 11, josh smith shows out, you know what that means….
Immediate collapse and celtics rally, cutting it to 2 in a minutes time….
May 8th, 201210:01 pm
no worries Heyward. Thanks for bringing the one bat to the series
Gattis would have gone 9IP with 12K. But, that’s just how Gattis rolls.
But Dempster is still going strong.
Unfortunately the Braves are done scoring tonight.
“Hawks go up 11, josh smith shows out, you know what that means….”
Josh Smith in BEAST MODE! Sigh…
September’s bats have returned…
May 8th, 201210:02 pm
@TheOnlyBravesFan; Indeed, a fine evening to you. Have you ever been to Chicago in your 17 years on this planet?
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
Be careful, Seagulls! Little cuties…
Seagulls are nasty birds…
True Ralph but look who he is playing.
May 8th, 201210:03 pm
Seagulls are the rats of the avian world…
May 8th, 201210:04 pm
I’m just gonna go ahead and call BALLGAME! Braves lose again and lose series to the Cubs….the Cubs!!
Dempster is carving us up.
May 8th, 201210:05 pm
Seagulls have feelings too…
Wouldn’t you know we get a great pitching performance and the bats go silent.
Is O’ stayin’ in??
i think id rather pay more money to have the carpet installed downstairs than have to move all this chit…or deal with the crappy old carpet
lose series to the Cubs….the Cubs!!
After sweeping Rockies at Coors…
May 8th, 201210:06 pm
He did…until that pitch to Soriano.
May 8th, 201210:07 pm
Of course I guess it wouldn’t be an issue if some more of those Braves baserunners wouldn’t have been stranded.
I am a “what have you done for me lately” type of person.
On Gattis – maybe he will continue to burn a path to the MLB, so that we can cut Francisco and move Prado to play 3B 2-3 games a week.
May 8th, 201210:08 pm
I hate all birds because they live to shyt on my truck. Especially after I’ve just washed it.
too harsh for me Powder…
May 8th, 201210:09 pm
cabravesfan Seagulls are nasty birds…
They’re still cute…
And they couldn’t be nearly as nasty as our mockingbirds… (ITS)
I am more of a what can you do for me next…
Cut chipper while we’re at it to make room for a guy who has 30 AB in AA……
Thank God Diaz was not in right field trying to catch that ball coming in.
May 8th, 201210:10 pm
Medlen makes it look so easy!
No, they are not cute. They are disgusting rat birds that poop on everything, throw trash everywhere, steal food, and generally make messes everywhere they go…and they are loud.
see how great it is to have Meds available in one of the last three innings?
Chipper can still field really well, regardless of what some haters say. As long as his knees are decent.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
