Maybe we should wait until Gattis has more than 28 AA at bats before we call him up to the majors…maybe even some AAA time? Just a thought…
Harper with another double. Kid has 6 already. Going to be a good one.
Jake- What really makes me sick is that we could’ve had Chris Paul or Deron Williams, but wound up with Marvin and Sheldon. Sad thing is Sheldon’s wife is a better player than both of them combined.

Jerry, be sure to tell them to point that pellet gun at Samardja as well. That hippie is douchebag, you can tell.
Not much to look at either. OMG! Thing is, at some point he can stop being a douchebag, but he will always being ugly as hell.
May 8th, 20128:39 pm
Durbin is just an all or nothing kind of guy. No runs or long ball server upper. Nothing to much in between.
Soto makin’ Randy work
I’m sorry if you, Half Empty, don’t see Pastor like I do. That one play he demonstrated bad technique in taking the wrong route to the ball, a weak arm by his trow being several feet short and an inaccurate arm in that even Freddie with his ten foot reach had to come off the bag.
May 8th, 20128:40 pm
I believe BRIAN was brought up from AA with no AAA.
Joe in SoCal
McFann..fear not..he shall not go quitely into that dark night!! I shall rest easy, knowing full well that your beloved BMac will again regain his rightful place amongst those hallowed few..those league leaders…but don’t call it a comeback!! que music…
May 8th, 20128:41 pm
doesn’t mean its a good idea George
May 8th, 20128:42 pm
Mac was called up as an injury replacement and because there was nobody in AAA they liked better. But he’d had a lot more than 28 at bats…
Theres are favorite Braves fan. He’s at every Braves home game right next to the visitors dugout and he never shows emotion.
May 8th, 20128:43 pm
I wish Dempster would stop wagging his glove during his delivery. It’s very irritating.
Where’s Alfred Hitchcock?
The man who knew too much was looking out his rear window and said he was heading North by Northwest.
That wasn’t a police siren Joe, it was a fire truck.
May 8th, 20128:44 pm
Couch Tater he may be traveling around Chi town to gather up his Birds at Wrigley.
I think that making such an adamant decision based on one play is unrealistic. Talk about a small sample size, you couldn’t have a smaller one
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
It’s not funny!…
Joe in SoCal—
Haha! Nice. Been a while since I’ve seen that movie…
It will be a comeback, though—’cause he’ll come back to his usual self…
May 8th, 20128:45 pm
I imagine he knows that Jerry

What really makes me sick is that we could’ve had Chris Paul or Deron Williams, but wound up with Marvin and Sheldon. Sad thing is Sheldon’s wife is a better player than both of them combined.
You won’t get a superstar everytime you get a high draft pick, what frustrates me the most is that Marvin hasn’t seem to put the time or work in to improve his game. I question his motivation. Some people have talent and waste it, some just do enough to get by, and others work hard to get better. Marvin is one of the first two. Just doesn’t seem as if he puts in the proper effort. He’s shown flashes of what he could have been and then nothing for the majority of the time.
I hate that we missed out on better talent as well but mostly I just hate that we drafted a player that lacks the motivation for whatever reason.
May 8th, 20128:47 pm
perhaps he is running from a psycho?
his range is not that bad Nolie
It is if your range includes areas you cannot throw the runner out. Lots of players can get to balls All Star SS’s can, they just can’t make the throw to get the runner out. Pastornicky falls into that category.
I’d not getting thoroughly understood here. Pastornicky is the best choice now, but you’d better believe Frank Wren is looking and listening.

Let’s go Braves
Fredi on Durbin: He’s fine for the role he’s in
May 8th, 20128:49 pm
Nice stop Old Man!
May 8th, 20128:52 pm
Wirgley is a real good looking ballpark, now otta here I am posting in-game, I don’t like doing that. nite y’all.
sounds like something that Fredi would think alright…
May 8th, 20128:53 pm
Quittin’ time…gotta run folks…let’s go Bravo’s..take it to the bubbie’s..send’em home to their mommies..
Now we’ve got to gattis some hits!!!
May 8th, 20128:54 pm
Couch Tater he may be traveling around Chi town to gather up his Birds at Wrigley
Without a shadow of a doubt.
Don’t wanna jinx him, but Delgado is doing a nice job for the second game in a row.
May 8th, 20128:55 pm
Delgado 80 mph change followded by an 81 mph change followed by 91 mph fastball then a 80 mph change. K, end of inning.
perhaps he is talking to a stranger on a train
May 8th, 20128:56 pm
Ok Martin–now here we go.
May 8th, 20128:58 pm
or perhaps he got locked in his room at the Jamaica Inn
May 8th, 20128:59 pm
or he might be tied up somewhere by a Rope
That’s hilarious…Durbin is fine for the role he is in. He wouldn’t have been in there if it were a one run game or a tied game, but hell, let’s throw him in there when we are down 3-1. I mean, he is going to let up runs. He isn’t fine for any role.
May 8th, 20129:00 pm
Ok stud….dig in
like I’ve said, pretty unlikely they are gonna throw away 900K early in the season
May 8th, 20129:02 pm
Well, who’s gonna hit the homer that’s gonna win this game? Obviously, no one looks to put a rally together.
I love high scoring binges, but I hate the games that come after them
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps…suspicion.
May 8th, 20129:04 pm
another meaningless Uggla hit…..
Prado and Uggla not having a problem with Dempster.
May 8th, 20129:07 pm
he might be having trouble with harry too
May 8th, 20129:08 pm
Somebody needs to do something! lol
May 8th, 20129:09 pm
May 8th, 2012
he might be having trouble with harry too
SBerthiaumeESPN Steve Berthiaume
A 3 Home Run night in Baltimore for #Rangers Josh Hamilton. Now with 13 homers and 34 RBI. He’s hitting .400.
May 8th, 20129:11 pm
or maybe he found out that Rebecca was a Saboteur ?
May 8th, 20129:12 pm
Gattis has cooled off quite a bit, 1 for last 10, that being a HR, BA down to .300
be a bummer lo lose on an unearned run
May 8th, 20129:13 pm
Did that foul ball go up about 39 steps into the stands?
It’s about time for Delgado’s big inning!
Another pathetic effort by Delgado…
Gattis gonna struggle some, they all do. WAY to early to be talking about jumping him up to the bigs
May 8th, 20129:14 pm
Gattis belongs on a sandlot somewhere…
May 8th, 20129:15 pm
Do the Cubs have their own walk up music like other parks or do their players have to walk up to the organist? Just noticed they organ was playing while Parker went up to bat. Random I know..
May 8th, 20129:16 pm
Chip is clueless as always….
Delgado looking good.
he mighta gotten vertigo and fallen through that torn curtain and was rescued by the wrong man
Kid is figuring things out…
May 8th, 20129:17 pm
May 8th, 20129:18 pm
Pretty impressive work there by Delgado to get out of that jam with the two K’s.
Wind has picked up now, blowing out to right field.
Is phil short for Phillies fan?
Delgado firing good enough…now shall we commence by rallying the
May 8th, 20129:19 pm
Is ralph short for durbin?
Nice triple for jason!
I bet Phil is a Red Sox fan
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love watching that somb!tch run!
J-Hey for THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
May 8th, 20129:20 pm
Be careful J-Hey, don’t go and jam another thumb.
Great job, Rev!!!!

Pastornicky in BEAST mode!
May 8th, 20129:21 pm
Some good batting going on this inning.
The rev delivers…
May 8th, 20129:22 pm
I have a copy of every movie that we have mentioned and many more Hitchcock opuses
I bet harray caray is dead.
May 8th, 20129:24 pm
May 8th, 20129:25 pm
Harry Caray was dead when he was alive.

May 8th, 20129:27 pm
Love Medlen mike’d up
May 8th, 20129:28 pm
phil, I thought you were making some hari-kari–death pun.
We can’t have Chipper actually retire with this much left in the tank….
Even though we have no say?
May 8th, 20129:29 pm
Medlen miked up was even less original than me…
A virtual impossibility, yet he managed.
May 8th, 20129:30 pm
Campana can be a pest
5-5, 4 homeruns
He needs a drink or 2.
May 8th, 20129:31 pm
May 8th, 20129:32 pm
So Hamilton did do it. MLB.com says he’s still looking for it. lol
Josh Hamilton 4 HRs tonight — only Freeman (6), McCann (5) and Chipper (5) have more this season among Braves
You can thank Joel Hanrahan for this Nats win.
May 8th, 20129:33 pm
We need runs!
Jesus! Freddie is killing the ball tonight with nothing to show for it.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
