Maybe we should wait until Gattis has more than 28 AA at bats before we call him up to the majors…maybe even some AAA time? Just a thought…

Jake- What really makes me sick is that we could’ve had Chris Paul or Deron Williams, but wound up with Marvin and Sheldon. Sad thing is Sheldon’s wife is a better player than both of them combined.

Jerry, be sure to tell them to point that pellet gun at Samardja as well. That hippie is douchebag, you can tell.

Not much to look at either. OMG! Thing is, at some point he can stop being a douchebag, but he will always being ugly as hell.

Durbin is just an all or nothing kind of guy. No runs or long ball server upper. Nothing to much in between.

I’m sorry if you, Half Empty, don’t see Pastor like I do. That one play he demonstrated bad technique in taking the wrong route to the ball, a weak arm by his trow being several feet short and an inaccurate arm in that even Freddie with his ten foot reach had to come off the bag.

Mac was called up as an injury replacement and because there was nobody in AAA they liked better. But he’d had a lot more than 28 at bats…

What really makes me sick is that we could’ve had Chris Paul or Deron Williams, but wound up with Marvin and Sheldon. Sad thing is Sheldon’s wife is a better player than both of them combined.

You won’t get a superstar everytime you get a high draft pick, what frustrates me the most is that Marvin hasn’t seem to put the time or work in to improve his game. I question his motivation. Some people have talent and waste it, some just do enough to get by, and others work hard to get better. Marvin is one of the first two. Just doesn’t seem as if he puts in the proper effort. He’s shown flashes of what he could have been and then nothing for the majority of the time.

I hate that we missed out on better talent as well but mostly I just hate that we drafted a player that lacks the motivation for whatever reason.

keylargo

his range is not that bad Nolie

It is if your range includes areas you cannot throw the runner out. Lots of players can get to balls All Star SS’s can, they just can’t make the throw to get the runner out. Pastornicky falls into that category.

I’d not getting thoroughly understood here. Pastornicky is the best choice now, but you’d better believe Frank Wren is looking and listening.
