The only reason I think Fredi isnt a good Manager is because he had a 10 1/2 game lead in the wild card with 30 games to go and still manage to blow that big of a lead and he kept throwing out Lowe every 5th game nd in the last game when just about every fan on this blog begged him to not start lowe to which he did and was out of the game quickly. So blowing a 10 1/2 game lead aint got nothing to do with sabremetrics. Thats why Wren went on ahead and sent JJ down to AAA to keep Fredi from running him out every 5th day. Fredi ifyou heard the postgame comments on FSN last nights said he was gonna run him out there again.

Jurrjens should send his grandmother up to the Big leagues, instead of himself :) Worst pitcher since the days of Abner Doubleday

JJ’s velocity has been down for over a year now, so I don’t see that getting back up to his former 92-95 self. Not much difference at all in his fastball pitches and offspeed and he’s consistantly hanging that offspeed stuff with a straight as arrow fastball. We might not see him back in ATL again since I don’t see him back here next year anyways. Kinda sad, always liked him.

Abner Doubleday couldnt tell you the difference between a baseball and a cumquat. In fact in the Early 1900’s Spaulding was trying to find the origins of the game and this crazy old man sent him a letter saying Doubleday invented the game and because he was a Civil War Major and hero they decided to use that story, but it was later found out that Cartwright invented the game as we know it with his “Knickerbocker” rules. In fact he was reconized by the 83th congress in 1953 as the “Father” of modern baseball. And is in the Hall of Fame as the inventor of the game but dont let Facts get in the way by any means.

no any opinion can become the truth when it has been tested and showed to have facts behind it. How do you think a scientfic hypothesis become a law, It is tested time and time again with differing factors but 1 constant to be able to evaluate any findings. Finally when it then proved it becomes a law.
