watched all JJ’s games this year. Balls in the middle of the plate with NO movement. Batting practice….
but a great CFer Brecky
The only reason I think Fredi isnt a good Manager is because he had a 10 1/2 game lead in the wild card with 30 games to go and still manage to blow that big of a lead and he kept throwing out Lowe every 5th game nd in the last game when just about every fan on this blog begged him to not start lowe to which he did and was out of the game quickly. So blowing a 10 1/2 game lead aint got nothing to do with sabremetrics. Thats why Wren went on ahead and sent JJ down to AAA to keep Fredi from running him out every 5th day. Fredi ifyou heard the postgame comments on FSN last nights said he was gonna run him out there again.
Dr. Kenneth Noisewater
isn’t Salty starting catcher for boston now?? not saying he’s going to the all star game anytime soon but still.
April 24th, 20129:34 pm
Jurrjens should send his grandmother up to the Big leagues, instead of himself Worst pitcher since the days of Abner Doubleday
Too much salt is unhealthy and is why McCann is so bloated and has a baggy uniform.
April 24th, 20129:35 pm
in 103 games last year hit 237. hitting about the same so far in ‘12.
April 24th, 20129:36 pm
even worse that Durbin huh?
April 24th, 20129:38 pm
Abner Doubleday did not invent the game of baseball, Alexander Cartwright invented in Newyork in the 1850s
Fats apparently never saw Chopper Campbell toe the rubber…
no, durbin takes the title…at least JJ can record an out
April 24th, 20129:39 pm
Alexander Cartwright was Bill Cartwright’s great great uncle…
April 24th, 20129:41 pm
and Hoss Cartwright’s uncle
April 24th, 20129:42 pm
half hour huh?
April 24th, 20129:43 pm
ugh, I hate to see Heisenberg’s name adulterated.
struggling to find a coherent topic on the board now that the JJ move has been beaten to death here
April 24th, 20129:44 pm
Here you Bonanza dimwits……educate yourselves
Hoss cartwright had a terrific BABIP for his era….
Yep, half hour.
Hawks trying to choke.
April 24th, 20129:45 pm
wonder why he keeps burying heyward at the bottom of the line up when strike out uggla kills rallies. I’m just saying.
April 24th, 20129:46 pm
beating a subject to death has never b4 stopped us from continuing to dissect the dead body, the problem is that we pretty much all agree it was the right move and that can sound the death knell
The name makes my stomach burn…
April 24th, 20129:48 pm
nolie – good point. We all agree it was the right move. Must really have been an obvious move to make if we all here agree
JJ’s velocity has been down for over a year now, so I don’t see that getting back up to his former 92-95 self. Not much difference at all in his fastball pitches and offspeed and he’s consistantly hanging that offspeed stuff with a straight as arrow fastball. We might not see him back in ATL again since I don’t see him back here next year anyways. Kinda sad, always liked him.
April 24th, 20129:49 pm
Heisenburg was an adulterater too? are you certain about principle?
Ugh, I knew it was something Lord of the Rings. I’ve never seen it. Guess I’ll have to cheat. _ Soph
Nor read the books I guess. This makes me sad
April 24th, 20129:50 pm
His name is joe johnson….whew
Abner Doubleday couldnt tell you the difference between a baseball and a cumquat. In fact in the Early 1900’s Spaulding was trying to find the origins of the game and this crazy old man sent him a letter saying Doubleday invented the game and because he was a Civil War Major and hero they decided to use that story, but it was later found out that Cartwright invented the game as we know it with his “Knickerbocker” rules. In fact he was reconized by the 83th congress in 1953 as the “Father” of modern baseball. And is in the Hall of Fame as the inventor of the game but dont let Facts get in the way by any means.
yeah great books
April 24th, 20129:51 pm
Heisenburg was good at ping pong too…
April 24th, 20129:52 pm
you never do J-man, why should we?
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
April 24th, 20129:53 pm
We have some friends up in Pennsylvania who we trade ATCs with, and they’re really into Lord of the Rings—the one girl, who just turned 6, read the Hobbit when she was 5…

PONG was the beginning of the end of American society
Can always come on here the first time in a day and count on a nolie “pat on himself” post or twenty.
1)-Yes, it was the right thing to do, sending him to AAA
2)-He WILL work it out and return to the big leagues, though not sure with whom
April 24th, 20129:55 pm
all us Pennsylvanians is erudite
His shoulder has to be raw from all that pattin’
PONG was the beginning

Hudson said back is fine, pitches felt more crisp, he feels ready to get ML hitters out “all in all, I felt pretty good. ” Penciled in Sun.
April 24th, 20129:56 pm
which particular pat was that brian?
You mean like te Fact i said Jurrs should be put on the DL or optioned to AAA when I had many people here bashing me for it. Or how I say Fredi ist a good manager because he blew a 10 1/2 game lead with 30 games to go. Or How Pastorncky cant hit majorleague pitching. So I guess I dont look at .171 Average. I guess I dont look at facts either Nolie

I really hate windows 7
April 24th, 20129:58 pm
you’re just jealous. you’d like o be able to pat yourself too, but you are almost never right about anything…..
April 24th, 20129:59 pm
those are your opinions J, none are actually proven facts.
Need I say more, people.
Good ol nolie is alright me. My fav
April 24th, 201210:00 pm
How about that shot?!
Chipper gets a cake (and Crown), in lineup on 40th birthday; Gearrin up from Triple-A
April 24th, 201210:01 pm
Mixxo: it was incredible. I’m rooting for the Heat so we get home court!!
April 24th, 201210:02 pm
Pure luck for joe….
April 24th, 201210:03 pm
All an opinion is a fact waiting to be proven
I wonder if they might actually cut Durbin lose? Hard to imagine but it would make a lot of fans happy
would this be enough passion from FG for some folks here? -

Why not add Flande to the 40 man roster, for crying out loud? It’s not like they don’t have 4 spots open.
April 24th, 201210:05 pm
yeah sure J…
thats the new philosophy alright, everybody’s opinion is da truth
April 24th, 201210:06 pm
nolie all us Pennsylvanians is erudite
Well, I don’t know about all…
Because right now, they don’t need Flande on the 40 man roster, and most teams like to have some room there this early in the season
April 24th, 201210:07 pm
An opinion is just that…an opinion. It could be fact, partial fact, or totally made up crap.
April 24th, 201210:08 pm
Chipper looking on disgustedly as prado and heyward gyrate around doing whatever stupid, moronic, childish hand slap routine that was….
I think they could use another lefty option in the pen right now, rather than Gearrin.
April 24th, 201210:09 pm
you’ve never seen Chipper do his hand shakes/ moves with Freddie and others?
In my opinion, an opinion is but an opinion.
I hope Chipper comes up huge tonight.
April 24th, 201210:10 pm
A few hugs is all.
Herang will throw a perfect game tonight.
They probably want Flande to continue starting and getting regular work…
its beautiful here at Dodger stadium. I hope they bang Harang around.
Great to see JJ gone. NEver to return. FG ” its up to him” sounds like JJ is a baby and a pouter
April 24th, 201210:11 pm
Nice call, fish bisch….
Is that a record for Fish Bisch being wrong?
atta baby bourn
Or it means that it will depend on how JJ does in Gwinnett…
April 24th, 201210:12 pm
I meant to say he will pitch a complete game 3 hitter.
April 24th, 201210:14 pm
Hey guys take a look at this video that a 527 committee made for the mock presidential election for my political science class. It incorporates the braves in a funny way.
I see bad habits re emerging….sigh.
April 24th, 201210:15 pm
Are reverting back to our first weekend trip with the Mets?
Just stand there…sigh.
no any opinion can become the truth when it has been tested and showed to have facts behind it. How do you think a scientfic hypothesis become a law, It is tested time and time again with differing factors but 1 constant to be able to evaluate any findings. Finally when it then proved it becomes a law.
Can Of Corn
April 24th, 201210:16 pm
Give Chipper his due Fredi. Chipper should be hitting 3rd in the lineup.
The shift SUX!
no any opinion can become the truth when it has been tested and showed to have facts behind it.
This is called a fact. Not every opinion can become a fact.
April 24th, 201210:17 pm
Another dose of Dodger luck.
Leadoff double wasted.
Second time in three games I’ve seen that happen to McCann
Dee Gordon, you’re slowly working your way out of my heart!…
THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HIT!!!!!
No wonder huddy hurt his back…sigh.
mccann should bunt to 3rd everytime.
that hurts – lead off double and cannot score a run. BMAC – good at bat – picked a good pitch, put a good swing on the ball and hit it hard. Unlucky
April 24th, 201210:18 pm
But nolie wants to claim I almost never right. To that all I’m sayin is prove it. Because he has taken my opinion and tried to make a factual claim behind it. Ok you can do that but present your evidence
Ummm, why was Dee Gordon in your heart in the first place?
A runner left in scoring position. I’ve seen this act before.
Same ole same-o
FF not ready for the responsibility of the 3 hole.
That’s like, the 80,000,000,000th time that’s happened to him with RISP this year…
Dee didn’t do anything special..shift just beat Mac again
