I have you all beat: an autographed Travis Smith (throwback 1969) jersey from the 2006 season – the first since 1990 without a division title. The bidding starts… NOW!

That was a joke. Don’t send the feds to my door. All they’ll find is a Kevin Tapani-autographed ticket stub and a skoal can signed by Jerry Jeff Walker

Duke, that’s tempting… I was a huge Kolb fan back in the day. Let me think about it, ok?

I should tell you that the menu has several pasta sauce stains on it, one of which appears to be a perfect imprint of Smokey’s thumb. Talk about a certificate of authenticity! So, you know, it’s going to fetch top dollar.

My mom recently sent me a very blurry picture of Tommy Lasorda who she ran into while he was in Albuquerque for the Isotopes’ opening game. She didn’t have the guts to walk up to him and get his autograph, though. :( I could have had an entire Lasorda collection!

I have – Baseball signed by Catfish Hunter, given to my son, who had recently been diagnosed with diabetes at age 6 (20 years ago). Catfish was at 5 county (mudcats) stadium, attending an ADA fundraising event before a ballgame.
– Baseball signed by Dennis Eckersley for my daughter before a game in Atlanta on an Easter Sunday during the 90’s. He was runing in the outfield, and we had seats near him. She threw the ball to him with a pen, and he signed it, and threw it back.
- Baseball signed by Grag Maddox, give to me by my nephew, who works for Scott Boras…so I assume it’s genuine, even though I didn’t see him sign it.

They all have enough sentimental value, that I would never sell them…At least the first 2, anyway.

Rats. No takers on the Travis Smith jersey. Hell, I’ll thow in the matching cap.

(On second thought, if I EVER break down and go to the abomination that is Marlins’ Stadium for a Braves’ game, I’ll rock the combo as a BIG F-U to the mullets’ management!)

My son has his wall of fame with pictures of himself with many of these guys – Heyward, Freeman, Teheran, giancarlo stanton, Bryce Harper, Dylan Bundy, Christian Yelich – it is fun to meet them when they are young and then follow them through to hopefully the majors

There should be an item on that menu named Lasorda. It just fits perfectly. As far as the sauce stains go, I would welcome them with open arms. Probably a good thing your mom didn’t go get his autograph. I heard Lasorda was notorious for ass grabbing women who asked for autographs.

Or you can wait until they get to Gwinnett. You’ll have a better chance of getting autographs of players that’ll end up in the show and fewer autographs of players that end up working at jiffy lube!!!

Me too, raleigh, but all we had at the time was a JJW tee-shirt I had just bought and my dad’s empty Skoal can. We just so happened to bump into him on the street after he had just put on one hell of a show in a Little Rock bar. That was a fun night.

My most prized possession is my real-McCoy road Dale Murphy jersey I bought in 1986 in the Braves Store at the CNN Plaza. It was during my first year of work after college, and I took my college sweetheart (who was in 1st year law at FSU) on a “date” to Atlanta for a weekend of fun! Spent HUGE coin for it, absolutely love it (she thought I was crazy). After Hank Aaron, Dale is my 1A All-Time favorite Brave. Man’s got MONDO kharma! :-)
