The Braves aren’t scoring again.
April 15th, 20122:03 pm
Nick do you ever get tired of being wrong?
The Braves pitchers have really had trouble preventing runs from scoring with 2 outs.
Yeah, that’s unfortunate
Beach needs to get out of this…should have gotten out of it without a run…close!
Nick, please turn off your TV and just not watch then.
April 15th, 20122:04 pm
Pitch count beginning to soar…sigh.
20 extra pitches for Beachy. Thanks Prado.
Lecroix (or however it’s spelled) was out on strikes before that hit.
Hit the guy with one!!
Narveson wants this.
April 15th, 20122:05 pm
I disagree. It looks like the ump is on the money today.
April 15th, 20122:06 pm
this inning is certainly raising his pitch count. I am just not as sold on him as many here seem to be. lets get him Smoltz’s shrink
April 15th, 2012
typical utility player.
April 15th, 20122:07 pm
We are going to lead baseball in unearned runs. How many extra pitches did he have to throw because of an error.
Beach eventually melts down most starts….
Was that it? Let’s hope.
So far, Beachy is pitching beautifully. Absolutely impressive. Verry unfortunate to have a run against, on one good groundball and a bloop single.
Having said that, Narveson reeeeally battled there. Impressive.
Let’s stretch the pitchcount on Narveson up. Battle in that box!
April 15th, 20122:08 pm
it’s Prado’s fault he took 20 pitches to get someone out?
Beachy should never speak to him again
Chip Caray is such a weird, creepy little guy.
April 15th, 20122:09 pm
Freeman K, 1 out
How many extra pitches did he have to throw because of an error.
At a minimum? One
C’mon, level it out Freddie.
5 is struggling
April 15th, 20122:10 pm
Well, at least he didn’t K.
Beachy doesn’t really have a pitch to put hitters away. He’s strike thrower who is effective when working ahead in the count. Marcum is similar in style (though with better stuff). The thing he does is set hitters up by working up and down and in and out.
Freeman is such a bum, send him down to AA
Not much you can do when you swing that drastically upward. Not good.
Lean in, jason.
April 15th, 20122:11 pm
is it just me or does Pastornicky have basically zero range?
Morgan……..MLB Professional Outfielder.
Mark it in yer book.
April 15th, 20122:12 pm
Heyward is such a bum, send him down and bring Georgie back
Freeman is gonna force the Braves to trade for a 1B this season.
Nick, why don’t you ask your mum if you can get back on her teet.
Will make you feel all warm and fuzzy and release you of those dark vibes you seem to have. Enjoy!
Rome would be better for FF….
Marcum has better stuff than Beachy?
Marcum has a better changeup, but that’s about it. I’d take Beachy’s fastball and curve anyday over those of Marcum.
Cut them all! (except Mac)
And Meds. We can keep Meds too
Narvy owns us.
Pastornicky is a groundout to SS waiting to happen.
April 15th, 20122:13 pm
Lol at Nick’s last….
must be just you cc, no scouts say that
It’s just you, cc
April 15th, 20122:14 pm
Yeah, gotta keep ol’ Flatbill….don’t know why but, he’s just a nice guy. IDK
Damn it, nolie, cut that out
April 15th, 20122:15 pm
now if you had whined about his arm….
Lets see, Beachy didn’t give up that run, Marcum gave up one. Each has had a perfect inning. What makes you think Narveson has anything on him. Without the wind and Prado’s error, it would still be 1-0.
Freeman had streaks last year where he couldn’t hit a lick, and then all of a sudden you could never get him out.
He’ll straighten it out soon. It’s his pattern.
Just don’t get having a dog at a major league game. My opinion however.
Weeks wanted that.
Fire Dale Murphy!!
Laughs too much…
April 15th, 20122:16 pm
Meds is awesome. And he’s a SoCal kid. So he gets to stay
Do the dogs have comfort facilities?
I’ve always wondered that.
Now that’s not good. I don’t like leadoff walks.
April 15th, 20122:17 pm
Beachy needs to learn how to pitch. To many pitches.
Marcum pitched last night.
Beachy didn’t give up the run? who did?
Now, I would have liked to have seen Jason hammer that pitch…3-1, fastball middle in, he needs to hammer that.
I don’t get it either Jerry.
April 15th, 20122:18 pm
scumbag Morgan at bat
Leadoff BB always score…..against us.
The A Bomb
Beachy = tad better than Carlyle. Won’t last the season in the rotation. Too many pitches consistently outing after outing.
I know, but his stuff wasn’t all that great either, Lawton.
And, nolie, it was an error that gave up that run.
any higher and we need to have Wilt put on the mask…
April 15th, 20122:19 pm
Ryan Braun = Mr. Baseball.
April 15th, 20122:20 pm
Wow, Nyger had Beachy in a hole and then with all that speed, he swings up on the ball for an easy out.
if he had struck him out that error couldn’t have been made. still all his fault…
Fixin’ to be 4-1 here.
April 15th, 20122:22 pm
Never a fan of any pitcher who has a habit of working at the top of the strike zone.
I wish Murph would do more than a handful of games. I like him
The guy before was struck out, nolie. Beachy didn’t get the call.
April 15th, 20122:23 pm
Looks like we are gonna be getting back into the bullpen early today. Beachy just cannot seem to get over that hump.
wow, thank you Aramis
exactly what I was talking about, he set that slider up with a pitch inside and got the strikeout. He didn’t do that to Lucroy and Lucroy got the hit.
April 15th, 20122:24 pm
Finish him, Beachy, please.
April 15th, 20122:25 pm
Beachy is a model of efficiency. He’ll be lucky to 5 and dive today.
Got him! Good one.
April 15th, 20122:26 pm
Great job Beachy! Corey Hart scares the bejesus outta me when he’s hitting. Wish we had him.
Wish Beachy could pitch without walking the leadoff batter in an inning,
hey guys beautiful day for baseball huh
Agreed on Murph. He’s great in the booth.
April 15th, 20122:27 pm
Maybe BB can learn soon to be more economical with his pitches, he has real good stuff.
Jerry – We could have had Hart 2 years ago for Minor.
April 15th, 20122:28 pm
Enjoying Murph so much I forgot the blog….good write-up Ms. Rogers
Murphy was my guy before chipper came along…
Nice breaking ball to get out of it, but Beachy needs an eeeeasy inning or two.
Let’s put some pressure on with the bats now!
April 15th, 20122:30 pm
OK–here we go! Bark, Bark! Hit! Hit!
yay good walk for beachy…and I didnt realize it was bark in the park today
Love dogs — but why at the ballpark?
I’ve got to take my Guinness to a Bark in the Park soon.
Guy picks the chick with the biggest breast to talk with. Typical male pig!
Do they have a day for cats? Gerbils? Deer?
April 15th, 20122:31 pm
Where do all those dogs poop while they are there? I hope it gets picked up
Nala would not like sharing the park with other dogs. She would, however, like to go with me…
Oh, why can’t the wind push it out of Braun’s glove?
Walks the pitcher and bourn swings at first pitch….
April 15th, 20122:32 pm
well cats are not fun animals or gerbils or deer soooooo
Come on Marteen, get that run back plus one for us. Make up for the error.
No bunt there? Interesting…
Here’s an idea, leave your dogs at home. I love my english bulldog like he was my son, but home is the best place for him. That lady said her dog is a huge Braves fan. The only thing that dog is a huge fan of is licking his own sack.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
