We have oursleves a ballgame.
Honestly, I didn’t think the Braves were going to score 2 runs all season
April 7th, 20122:44 pm
Is mccann having blurried vision again? Mabey the Hockey mask is suppose to help him see the blazin’ JJ’s Nolan Ryan’isk fastball that he’s whippin’ in there.” Dominance is JJ’s game”-fredi G.
Love that we finally scored, sure would like to see some manufactured runs though.
The A Bomb
Who cares about the game now….we scored!
April 7th, 2012
watch out when they finally do score though, prolly score two runs in the same game….
Open the flood gates!
1/2 hitters producing big time.
Home Runs are great but they still dont manufacture Runs. Same as last year where the Braves were among the league leaders in HR but overall pathetic in scoring
I just hope we don’t stop hitting! We have the momentum now
This is a critical inning for Double J…Come On!
I was flicking to watch something else…i cant’ stand those bozoo of the NY met announcer and BOOM…something wake me up….MARTIIIIIIIIIIIIN…
April 7th, 20122:45 pm
2 runs scored over the last 24 innings is 0.0833333333333 runs an inning.
April 7th, 20122:46 pm
J-Man (who I assume is fake)-
Nope. Do you even know what PMS is?
Prado didn’t need the new fence..now lets see if that wakes the team up…
Please JJ stop throwing puss balls down the middle to Wright
Thanks Liberty Media

I would not say Atlanta is a bad sports town. Metro area is VERY passionate about college football. Also, it is a great tennis and golf town if you play. Watching pro sports on the other hand. Yes, it is a bad town. This coming from an Atlanta native. One factor is all the transplants that have moved to Atlanta. I can understand moving to a new city and keeping alligence to their home team. Plus, pro teams in Atanta are above average, but not good enough to win it all.
Better not see the doom and gloomers cheering
Hey folks, if the fake posters on here are pissing you off, send feedback using the form below complaining about it. It’s causing the AJC to lose page views (ie, MONEY) when legitimate users are leaving because of it.
Nice Pick Double J
The Real and Original J-MAN

Premenstral Syndrome………but I wasnt the 1 to point that out. Somebody is using my screen name
April 7th, 20122:49 pm
Mets just foul off those 87 mph fastballs away. Must be 20 plus of those. Kill the pitch count. Power arms win in baseball now
Guys we can blast FW all you want, but it’s hard to put together a World Series contender when you have ownership that has a Dollar General Store mentality toward the budget. I find it amusing that Liberty trotted out that same ole song and dance with Terry McGuirk statement, “I almost relish when one of our competitors goes in the free agent market because it’s so inefficient and such a bad use of dollars. You almost never get the value out of a free agent expense.” I don’t relish it. That just shows me that our competitors are truly doing whatever it takes to win and not just giving lip service to it like our owners do.
Thanks, for the Libertyspeak, Terry. Do you honestly believe that a 5-year contract to a premier pitcher that eventually goes 89-33 with a World Series Championship during the life of that contract is a bad investment? I give you Greg Maddux. When I think that we could have had Arthur Blank as owner instead of the current nefarious faction, it makes me sick. Bud, I hope you made enough money off of that deal. Oh, and please, spare me that the “best interest of baseball” nonsense.

The Real and Original J-MAN-
I know. That’s why I said “who I assume is fake”- didn’t think it was actually you
Last Rookie Triple Crown?
I’m guessing Pujols or Mike Piazza???
I agree TNScott. We need new owners hopefully after the Dodgers were sold for 2 Billion the Liberty owners will try to sell the team to make a profit
Not one damn quality breaking ball today from J J. Nice!
JJ Pitch count is to high…..That why Fredie need to use the pen more last yr
April 7th, 20122:52 pm
Dan, JJ, you aren’t supposed to give those runs back.
April 7th, 20122:53 pm
It might be a long year with Pastornicky at shortstop because his lack of range has already been apparent in this series.
The Cuban Wizard…Now…Livan
4 2/3 from JJ.. Atta boy.
Jurrjens just can’t get threw 5 innings. Bullpen being worked hard to start the season.
Beat it JJ , take your slop to the showers
I do give FW credit for getting Bourne. However, if you peel away at his numbers. You see a low OBP for a leadoff hitter. Great base stealer YES, but you can’t steal first. Low OBP all the way up and down the lineup. It is very hard to score, when you don’t get on baseball. Hence, all the solo shots last year.
Oh wait Fredi is finally taking JJ out. Who said he should have pitch-hit for him in the previous inning……it was me. Thats bad when an idiot like me is a better Manager than Fredi Gonzalez
Double J Didn’t pitch Poorly…He got F’d by The AWFense (Yet Again) and The AAA Umpire…
But it still sucks because the Bullpen is gonna have to come correct!
Hopefully anyone But “Gas Can Durbin” is coming in?
Coach (2012 Fredi's beisbol fandango)
April 7th, 20122:54 pm
Bullpen is already getting over worked.
Don’t blame JJ for 4 2/3….The Ump squeezz JJ today.
Come on Livan!
April 7th, 20122:55 pm
We need Kenny Powers
I’m fairly sure Jason Bay is the answer.
Glad to see the Braves starters are letting the bullpen rest up this year.
Lots of weak hits; two real hits.
double play.. get it!
Terry McGurik couldn’t come close to Stan Kasten for running a team. TM is a joke.
April 7th, 20122:56 pm
It’s apparent that the Braves really need Jack Wilson’s bat in the lineup.
Livan trying to hard to spot his pitch, now the batter is in the driver’s seat.
Ya Juan, all the umps fault. Big leaguers must make adjustments. All the umps fault
The guy is throwing 82mph.
Need a DP in the worst way here.
And I’ll point out, when Wright was up, I was in the process of loading my dishwasher.
Why no low strikes?
April 7th, 20122:57 pm
Livan is big But he is Smaller than Ray “Burger King”
Gotta love the infield fly rule.
@ Powder Blue
Now that is funny! Jack Wilson ’s bat. It couldn’t be any worse.
Braun – triple crown for rookies
April 7th, 20122:58 pm
What’s the streak at for the last time the braves had a lead?
Heyward, you could have had that!
Heyward the gold glover. Bust!
Well there goes the lead. Thanks Fredi
April 7th, 20122:59 pm
Coach (2012 Fredi’s beisbol fandango)
“Last Rookie Triple Crown?
I’m fairly sure Jason Bay is the answer.”
CheckMate…Lets bet a 30 pack on it?
Well another Walk kicks us in the ASS
You can’t pitch inside when you throw 80mph.
This umpire’s strike zone is horrible.
Failure to have a shut down inning continues to haunt this team. Same Braves team different year.
Jurrjens in line for the loss.
April 7th, 20123:00 pm
67 mph…he may get a speeding ticket.
These Braves are sticking to the script. What few runs they get will be by the long ball.Starting pitchers who can’t last, and more than enough fat guys to go around.
Thanks Liberty Media – I wasn’t too enthused with the Bourne deal myself except we didn’t give up what the Braves considered to be major prospects. I had my doubts on Bourne based on the fact I thought his stats were elevated because he played at Minute Maid Park. If this season turns south, maybe we can get something good in return.

Another Sucky Inning…
I bet we are done Scoring! I hope I’m Seriously Wrong on that Prediction!
April 7th, 20123:01 pm
Braves bat’s come alive with a 2 out homerun, then the pitchers give it right back.
Could’ve been worse.
Lets trade JJ for anything and get Teheran up here
Think Gomer Cooper’s zone is bad today?
Three pitchers from both teams and not one can hit 90 on the gun.
safe to come in here?
April 7th, 20123:02 pm
Run! Run while you still can!!!
I think it’s September 7 2011. Seen this act before
True. All they needed to do is add 10 million or so to the payroll. I agree with you all the way. It’s hard to sell tickets with no superstars.
anybody seen Moe waving at us?
April 7th, 20123:03 pm
Come on Uggla!
Braves will come back this game…palm reader just told me. She said braves not dead yet…expect big boom– cost me $5 big ones.
Please, Danny, please, please, please.
Here we go everyone…Uggla comes alive.
Anyone watching the SNY broadcast? After nearly every pitch the commentators are make weird “ooooo” and “ewwww” noises. Sounds like something dirty is going on….
April 7th, 20123:04 pm
I bet you have your hat really to tip. HA HA HA!
You make a Good Point abt Bourn…He did Pad his stats on Garbage Astros teams while playing against Garbage teams in that Loser NL Central over the last 3 years…I bet he doesnt steal 50 bases in a braves uni for the season (Assuming he’s not traded) because we dont use the run game and are not aggressive on the basepaths….
Jurrjens’ line: 4-1/3 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 3 K, threw 102 pitches (65 strikes)
Why would Freddie Freeman tip his hat?
That’s a start.
April 7th, 20123:05 pm
for all you folks who have seen the ending already STFU…
we knew the damn Titanic was going to sink didn’t stop us from enjoying the movie
chances are the braves do not win the world series this year lets enjoy the ride that is the baseball season or find another sport
Well, a walk is better than an out.
Freddie, Freddie, Freddie…
Fab 5 Freddie just had the worst AB of the game there…SMH
Wow Freddie, just wow.
Of course he hits it to the pitcher.
wow, walks previous guy, first pitch swinging
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
