Blue is squeezing us behind the plate, forcing JJ to groove pitches.

We’re gonna be in for a long day if that’s the pattern…

87 mph fastball down the middle of the plate is going to full nobody in this game.

If Bourne’s approach doesn’t concern people, then nothing does.

Someone should’ve chewed his ass.

And please, no excuses because the ump’s blind….have to overcome bad calls.

nolie, that’s what Powell was just saying about Francisco. His range isn’t great, but was voted in the minors to have the best arm for a 3rd baseman. He doesn’t excite me, but you never know, he could catch fire or something. Stranger things have happend.

If the Braves had won 1-0 on Thursday it would have been, “Braves erase all memories of collapse with convincing win at Citi Field on Opening Day, yay!!!”

Have to admit, I am concerned with the velocity decrease from both Hanson and Jurrjens. Jurrjens has only hit 88 so far and Hanson barely touched 90. Heres hoping it goes up as the season goes on. I can’t imagine being effective without these guys.

I can imagine being effective without JJ. I’d insert Medlen. Problem solved.
The BP would suffer a bit, but Meds would go more innings than JJ and Hanson. He induces more ground balls and works very efficiently.
