You can’t be that blinded. These guys have the same problems as last year. Nothing changed on the roster and nothing changed in their heads. Their mentality is simply sapped at this point.

Ward – if they haven’t gone in the tank at the end of last year. I think the attitude would be different. Given last year and the start to this year. It is VERY hard to get excited.

Basically what Wren and the Braves asked of their pitching staff over the winter was to repeat their 2011 in the upcoing year if you want to be a part of a playoff team. Not asking for THAT much.

That is interesting. I thought it was common knowledge that the Braves have a terrible infield defense. Freeman’s hands are incredible, but him and Uggla on the right side of the infield are a problem with their lack of range.

I said it this morning that everything on paper says the Braves win this game today against Dickie. So I predicted the Braves would lose it. I also said the Braves wouldn’t win a game against the Mets this series. Not hating, just predicting. But it doesn’t matter at all. It only 3 games at the start of the season and those games won’t come back to haunt the Braves. Is that the way it goes?
