personally i think he is better than what they will end up getting if anybody at all
Why not one of our own, like Durango or someone?
March 26th, 201211:37 pm
I like giving Durango a shot too and Sutton maybe til Wilson and Chipper are back regularly. I also like Parraz so far too
I’m starting to believe over exercising and all this hardcore stretching they do causes so many crazy injuries anyways. Some more than others it appears. Damn, warm up and play. Eat great, but don’t go nuts with the fitness stuff.
March 26th, 201211:38 pm
Murph – I can sympathize with your fire ant bites. That happened to me last summer with a plant I had out in the yard for a month or so. Picked up that sucker and was walking to the hole I dug when I realized I had those bad boys all over my hand and arm. Itch like crazy, forms a lovely pustule that turns into a red crater when it pops, and takes weeks to heal…….then scars. Lovely creatures.
Played about 3,000 of games of basketball – let me count how often I stretched – done…
March 26th, 201211:39 pm
I need sleep. Goodnight everybody! Sleep well and sweet dreams!
I agree about Parraz. It’s only ST, but the guy seems to be able to hit. Considering the rest of the Braves’ bench, that would be a BIG plus.
March 26th, 201211:42 pm
nolee: thanks for the insider post – that was a very interesting read for all us outsiders.
Thanks for your 11:38. I think I’ll put off eating for another day or two.
March 26th, 201211:48 pm
Tom – well, I figured it was well after supper for most folks, too early for the midnight snack group….
March 26th, 201211:51 pm
Never a problem for me, Choppinmama. If you saw my pantry, you’d know that pustules were just kids play.
March 26th, 201211:52 pm
Clearly, no consideration for the West Coast contingent… sigh…
March 26th, 201211:54 pm
Oh yeah, cabravesfan, there’s that too!
March 26th, 201211:58 pm
Now that’s an interesting string of word you don’t see together too often – “you’d know that pustules were just kids play.”
And on that note, I’m taking my healed-up pustules to bed. Nite all.
March 26th, 201211:59 pm
Yes, Tom. There is “that”…
March 27th, 201212:00 am
Sorry, cab. I’ll keep all you west coasters in mind next time!
March 27th, 201212:01 am
I’ll let it go…THIS TIME Don’t let it happen again!
March 27th, 201212:02 am
Good night, Choppinmama
March 27th, 201212:08 am
I should be going, myself. Have to make something to eat and then spray for fire ants.
‘Nite, cabravesfan and all.
March 27th, 201212:10 am
cab – I’ll just be glad when there’s a lot more real baseball to talk about………..in about 17 days, isn’t it?
Our 2012 rally cry will be………Let’s do it for the Chipper!!!!!!!!!
March 27th, 201212:11 am
(I’m headed to bead too)
March 27th, 201212:12 am
Not headed to bead…bed. Yes, I am that tired…
Tom – just goes to show you you don’t know nuthin about fire ants. You sprinkle, not spray.
Now, good night sir. Enjoy your late evening repast.
March 27th, 201212:18 am
Looks like tomorrow’s game will be replayed on MLB at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning EDT (even better, 3:00 a.m. for us)…
March 27th, 201212:19 am

Choppinmama that was Phil Falco working with Bourn
March 27th, 20122:32 am
Billy what’s up? If I had to chose for the fith guy? It would be Medlen, and I would send Teheran, and Delgado down.
March 27th, 20122:36 am
I would go with Jairo Ascencio, and Yohan Flande, instead of Teheran, and Delgado.
March 27th, 20122:43 am
Put Medlen,in the 5th spot, and get both Jairo, and Yohan in the pen some how.
March 27th, 20122:45 am
Most definately Parraz would be a big bat on the bench. He looks like a hitter.
March 27th, 20123:06 am
Chipper will be fine when he comes back, and bet he will be in the best shape of career. Just enough shape for a good solid season, and will go out in style. All have a good one,and talk tomorrow.Peace my friends………..”Go!!!!!Braves!!!!!”
March 27th, 20123:25 am
Back for a few. I would pick up Johnny Damon, before Byrd, and think Johnny Damon a better fit.Just my opinion though.Peace Out!
March 27th, 20123:39 am

Morning Braves fans.
Game with the Mets today.
ML starters because we face them for real next week.
I remember the days when it seemed like we played the Expos every other day. We shared the complex down at West Palm Beach.

Might throw Eddie Matthews in strong consideration for #2 behind the Hammer. Of course, without the Hammer Eddie Matthews would be better known and would probably stand out a bit more. A quiet 500+ homers…
