I tend to go with Durango too. Much better glove, does a lot of things well. But Georgie has seniority with the Braves, so I think he will win out if either does. The way Bourn plays, there’s really no need to have a real backup CF. Apart from injury, of course.

Give it up O’Brien. Chipper Jones is merely a baseball player. A mighty fine one, but he is not God. he is not Jesus. He is a baseball player. He bats and throws a ball. He is not a hero. What has he done for the betterment of mankind?
According to the guys in the booth, JJ’s control was much better today than in past starts. Yes, it was a very bad Astros SS. However, it sounds like a better overall performance for JJ than his first few starts.
Sounds like JJ, Hanson, Minor are rounding into form. We’ll see how Beachy’s next start goes, but I’m sure he’s going to dial it up a notch.
I definitely vote for Medlen to get Huddy’s April starts over Delgado or Teheran.
