Please stop overreacting to JJ. The last couple springs its been the same thing. JJ’s fastball Velo is down and he gets shelled. Then the season comes along and its business as usual. He will be fine this season if healthy. That’s always the case with him.

Braves wouldnt win this year because of JJ Hanson Heyward and McCann has to be the worst catcher behind the plate. Plus Freddi is the worst manager in the NL. He will be fired sometime this year .

The mound is messed up, that’s on JJ to adjust, not Fredi.
The infield is harder, the grass is shorter, the lights are dimmer, and the lockers are smaller. Make sure Fredo doesn’t force his other players to deal with those “conditions”, either.

Was he slipping on his plant leg or his stride leg? It’s important to know these things.
In any event, the lack of proper mound surface probably explains the hanging changes that had “Hit Me” written on ‘em in permanent laundry marker.

I don’t know…..I like that the manager left him in there. These guys walk on clouds….every now and then the manager needs to push a button and today he pushed JJ. His performance going back to last year is not up to par. In fact, he’s one of the reasons we missed the playoffs so he should be left hung out to dry. Shows a little sense of concern when everyone else just shrugs off spring training.
Man up JJ….pitch the dam ball. You’re already quickly losing your spot on this team and now your going to suck up your trade value? Yikes, how far away does that all-star game feel now.
