I like the taste of Killians, but then, I like a beer that’s a little bitter. Not much, though. I can’t stand those really dark porters and black ales. But now my favorite beers in the whole world are the German Krystal Weizens. Man, those,l in a tall Weizen glass with a squeeze of lemon, are heaven. Can’t hardly find them over here in the States, though. I gained a LOT of pounds from drinking that stuff in Germany.
Wow! Come on people. If I taste bitter when I drink Killians, who are you to say different? Are you my damn taste buds? If so, I’m thoroughly impressed that you can post on a blog.

You never know, O’Brava. Hudson is out until late April or May. Hanson & Jurrjens are still shaking the rust off. That leaves Beachy, Minor and Medlen.

I used to work for the county commish that got the Braves AAA team to Gwinnett. He ran for commissioner for that very purpose – get AAA ball in Gwinnett County. And, being an Atlanta native, he wanted the Braves AAA. His mug is on a bronze plaque at Cool Ray Field. Once they got settled in there, he finsihed out his term and didn’t run again.
Guy was my favorite boss ever. I still talk to him from time to time, too, and I haven’t worked for him in over 10 years.

He knows he will get that money back tenfold when he (or his heirs) sells the team. Major leauge franchises are a great investment for these billionaires.
The worst scenerio for a MLB team is to have corporate ownership. The Yankees (pre-Steinbrenner) were owned by CBS for about 10 – 15 years–in the mid-60s to the mid-70’s.
