I knew all along Cristhian Martinez would do well and make the team, but am very surprised about Varvaro. THought he was mch better than what he’s shown so far. Hope he picks it up – we need another guy who can go multiple innings along with Medlen and Martinez and particularly if Meds makes the roatation to start the season..

And I’ll be at the games on March 30, 31 and April 1 – thanks to my non-baseball loving husband since this was one of his gifts to me for Christmas. That and my Iphone 4s so I can check in from the games. It’s going to be fun. Taking my niece to the Friday night game, my 10-year old great nephew on Saturday, and my sister on Sunday.

GTI in Brooklyn @ 3:09pm … my tip is mute it (assuming it’s SNY) and put the Braves radio broadcast on through your computer speakers. That’s what I do since I can’t stand Ron Darling. Or get premium MLB.tv where you can watch the Braves broadcast and announcers even if they are playing at Citi Field.

richbrave .. maybe when the season starts you can stream the games for ‘free’ on this site… http://www.vipbox.tv/ They had a ton of college hoops games on ESPN and the other ESPN affiliates throughout the basketball season. Hopefully they’ll be streaming baseball a lot too.

I really don’t trust vavaro
his fastball has good velocity but little movement and his offspeed pitch is probaly a grade C
I really hope he doesn’t make the bullpen and if he does, that he’s used very little only in mop up situations. I don’t trust him
