With runners on corners and 1 out, Beachy struck out Jonathan Diaz looking at a big curveball.

He Brings back nasty memories when he was starting in our lineup
March 17th, 20121:33 pm
Yep, I think he’s playing with them. Let ‘em think they are getting close and then shuts the door with two nice Ks.

U just Watch! D.O.B. Petey Pablo, Chipper and Ugg are gonna Get Crazy Tonight
Its St Paddy’s Day
My husband asked me last night why I didn’t have Jordan Whitley’s job since I’m such a baseball nut. Must have missed that phone call, I told him. Plus, they don’t want a 40 year old broad up there.
March 17th, 20121:58 pm
He’s taller, but the build and the way the Rev stands at the plate reminds me of Nate.

I have to go. Be back later.
March 17th, 20122:01 pm
1,2,3 in the 4th for Medlen…i think he’s ready for starting the 5th spot in the rotation
I love Rick James, but I love more smoother stuff like old R. Kelly, Barry White, Luther, Keith Sweat, Al B Sure, New Edition, etc…
March 17th, 20122:02 pm
Nate? That’s a scary thought.
Medlen with an excellent outing.
March 17th, 20122:03 pm
Just came upon same-slugged story from a year ago when I went to create a new Word file just now. A year ago today, we were writing about Lowe being named the Opening Day starter and Heyward missing his fifth consecutive game with a sore back.
Hands off Jordan Whitley. I saw her first!
March 17th, 20122:04 pm
5th Ross open with a hit…

“………I love Rick James, but I love more smoother stuff like old R. Kelly, Barry White, Luther, Keith Sweat, Al B Sure, New Edition, etc…”
Just reminded of the line from that song when I eyeballed our new gorgous reporter.
Didn’t you like their, ‘Night Shift” piece. That’s nice and mellow.
I’m trying to get more info on that Braves Open House breakfast. Is it at ST on the last weekend or what? I can’t find anything on it.
March 17th, 20122:05 pm
Do You ever kick it with Chip C.
He went to UGA so he knows how to “Party Like a Rockstar”! despite the image…!
March 17th, 20122:06 pm
What difference a year makes
March 17th, 2012
“…….Hands off Jordan Whitley. I saw her first!……..”
Heh! if you’re sayin’ that, you already missed the line. Heh!
March 17th, 20122:07 pm
“Didn’t you like their, ‘Night Shift” piece. That’s nice and mellow”
yes, that is a Dope Song…if its a mellow song, regardless of genre , T-Hawkin loves it…as long as its not current garbage
March 17th, 20122:08 pm
I saw Her First and I first commented on it Thursday…
March 17th, 20122:10 pm
what a difference a year makes J Hey gonna knock the cover off the ball,Lowe no longer a Brave just an Indian
March 17th, 20122:12 pm
C-Mart will be coming in, Nice!
March 17th, 20122:16 pm
Meds pitched very well today:
4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K
That’s my boy
Happy Birthday Frank Wren…!
Gilmartin in the 5th 1,2,3,…0-0 Port St. lucie
March 17th, 20122:17 pm
No more no sheriff or brink of disaster pen looks good
March 17th, 20122:20 pm
Beachy had a solid outing: 4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K
March 17th, 20122:21 pm
Simp is making some Good Points About C-Mart wanting to be a starter…
March 17th, 20122:22 pm
And down at Port St. Lucie, Medlen had an excellent start vs.Mets: 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K
Rob from SC
Got to think hard about Medlen for the 5th spot
March 17th, 20122:23 pm
it was Medlen not CMART
March 17th, 20122:24 pm
Cristhian pitched in the home game just now…
Rob from SC
“Got to think hard about Medlen for the 5th spot”
Why? Little Big Man MED’s Has heart…The Braves were like 10 or 12-3 in his starts in 2010, he saved our season
March 17th, 20122:26 pm
@Rob From Sc
The Braves have 2 games today… Its a Split-Squad games today
March 17th, 20122:27 pm
Wow, that was too easy for the Jays.
“No more no sheriff or brink of disaster pen looks good”
I kinda miss The Sheriff… (Tear)
Linestink, not so much
March 17th, 20122:29 pm
Meds should be the 5th starter…then slide into the BP when Hudson returns.
That way Delgado and Teheran can work on the finishing touches in AAA
March 17th, 20122:32 pm
C-Mart is looking Good
I think that is exactly what they said they were going to do with Meds (and I agree)
I agree Rob he wants it and has worked hard for it
March 17th, 20122:33 pm
They still say Medlen in the pen…
March 17th, 20122:34 pm
I think that is long term. I believe they have indicated he will start until Huddy is ready. That’s part of the reason why he is starting in Spring games
March 17th, 20122:35 pm
I need a Mac Jack!!! I’m gonna call it!
@Rob From SC
Co-Sign…But Injures are gonna happen, most people on here forget that…
I feel more Comfortable bringing R-Dell Up,…And Little Big Man MED’s has the poise to be the number 2 or 3 starter if injuries occur
We Both know that Big Red or Double J can get injured at anytime or have setbacks…
March 17th, 20122:36 pm
C Mart looked good last outing he’s for real I hope Asencio picks it up and progresses I believe he is our weakest link and is out of options I think
Guess it only works in my car when trying to make a left turn. But I’ll take the single.
Is making good points abt baseball bats
March 17th, 20122:37 pm
An Uggla jack would work, too. That was funny right there
March 17th, 20122:38 pm
Good call bravesgrl4life!
Dan Uggla needs to save some for April…He is on fire
Well, for Uggs, it works sitting on my sofa
He is Clowning!
March 17th, 20122:39 pm
Uggla has now homered in each of his past three games for the Braves.
Mets take a 2-0 lead on Gilmartin
Whatever Uggla did this winter,it does not seem to have slowed his bat at all.
March 17th, 20122:40 pm
My man Uggla is going to have a MONSTER year!
March 17th, 20122:41 pm
Save those Homers for April Ugg! We Will need it in the Cooler weather…
People have to remember that A. Jones used to Clown and hit homers all the time in S. Training and start the first 4 weeks of the reg. season hitting. 220
DOB: Will O’Flaherty be pitching today, Laddie? Top of the morning to you Mr. O’Brien even though it’s the afternoon.
March 17th, 20122:42 pm
In the other game, Mets got 2 up on the Bravos.
just got in and turned the TV on time to see Uggla HR and Chipper with a long single. with only 1 run surrendered, Hanson must have looked pretty good as well.
Much better week this week in spring training. Hopefully the Braves will keep building, keep refining, and open the season strong.
March 17th, 20122:43 pm
I am sorry – Beachy must have been solid
March 17th, 2012
Whatever Uggla did this winter,it does not seem to have slowed his bat at
He lifted weights with his brother, thought about hittin(just a guess),and drank something called Muscle milk
Damn, B-Macc looks like my Neighbor…
March 17th, 20122:44 pm
Wonder if McFann is watching.
should interview Chipper again after his “sprints” and see if he is out of breath again today like earlier this week in the night game
Gearrin in to pitch 7th for and 3B prospect Edward Salcedo, brought over from minor league side for today’s game, is now in.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
