“I was kidding. I just got done playing eight innings with three at-bats. I was a little tired. I wasn’t by any means suggesting I couldn’t make it through the season. If I didn’t think that I could, I wouldn’t be out there.”
Same old stuff from Chipper. Love the guy, but he gets himself into these situations. He isn’;t retiring. In fact, I still think there is a fair chance he plays in 2013. Just needs 123 games, and 9 million dollars isn’t pocket change.

im actually surprised a 40 year baseball fan would suggest this team sucks. must not be very perceptive.
i like the stories about the braves maybe being trouble. we know there is no way they lose 100 games, or whatever, and being favored to be really good doesnt usually do much for you. under the radar is fine with me. (by the way, we arent THAT for under the radar or no one would be talking about us being 1-10 either. everyone knows this is a good team)

Yup really, really slumping right now. 1st and 3rd none out and only get 1 run. A strikeout and double play with the heart of the order is about right. Get it all out in ST because I’m tired of seeing it during the regular season.
