I’ll try your harmonica player on for size in a bit. DOWNTON ABBEY is about to show a new hour at 10:00 p.m. I assume you are an afficianado.

richbrave–check out the harmonica player. Think you will like him. Occasionally, some of his music heads a little bit too much towards ‘world music’ but he is quite good. Yes, I do like Downton. Was a bit late coming to it, so I have seen the second season in a bit out of order, so just gave my wife season two this past week. So I can now fill in the gaps.

Gosh, are we going to have to refer to Chipper and BMac as the Lame Duck Two for the next couple of seasons?

And, I know it’s only spring, but why can’t these guys hit the ball? The opponents are working on their stuff too, they can’t be in top pitching form yet. Or is it harder to hit lousy pitching?

Perspective on hitting.

Most of the starting eight are 0-2 or 0-3. Prado is something like 2-6. The Rev is 0-8 ish, although he had a double ruled an error.

That’s like the standard 1/2 game of futility that we’re used to from the Braves.

Most of the 0-fers are from scrubs that won’t see a major league AB in. 2012.

The bench is looking pretty weak, but we already knew that it will be a liability.

VJ, correct. Saw the game. Fell asleep early. Woke up half-way through the second half. Got interesting about that time.

I like SMART. His team’s alwaysd come preparedc to play, at least the players are buying what he’s shoveling, and that makes all the difference in RICHMOND and VCU. Best coaching at VCU since J.D. BARNETT outside of ANTHONY GRANT.

I remember DAVE H. well. Really good guy, and excellent coach.

BARNETT really knew how to run CHUCK NOE’s old ‘Mongoose’ offense [the four corners]. When the original 45-second shot clock came in the ‘85-’86 season, BARNETT couldn’t adapt. He moved on from VCU, but his winning record continued to tumble at TULSA, and the other schools where he coached. But there was no finer practitioner of the ‘mongoose’ than J.D..

I’m a huge fan of The Walking Dead, but i’m a big fan of anything with zombies. But the show is so different than all the movies and such. I really like the story line and all the characters personalities and such, and the action and zombie killing isn’t over done. I remember playing Resident Evil on Playstation… I’ve played everyone that’s came out, and just really into the whole zombie survival theme.
By the Way….All the Resident Evil movies are complete crap tho, they did such a horrible job of making the game into movies, as nothing makes sense. I’ve put countless hours into the games and when I watched the movie I didn’t get what was going on… Just horrible.

“When the sun is high in the afternoon sky
You can always find something to do
But from dusk till dawn as the clock ticks on
Something happens to you

In the wee small hours of the morning
While the whole wide world is fast asleep
You lie awake and think about the boy
And never ever think of counting sheep

When your lonely heart has learned its lesson
You’d be hers if only she’d call
In the wee small hours of the morning
That’s the time you miss her most of all

When your lonely heart has learned its lesson

Just wondering if the first serious rumblings about a possible Brian McCann departure will cause some on the blog to reconsider the National League’s adoption of the DH,( since an AL team could well use it as a selling tool for a “last half of his career McCann”), or if the prevailing attitude will simply be “let him go”.

Texas songwriter and fifties country music star Floyd Tillman was in the audience that night and the group performed his excellent tune, “This Cold War With You”.

The Braves stream no games on the web. Worse than that I live in atown that has an affiliate and their signal is so weak I live 5 miles from the antenna and can not hear a night game. Guillermo. I’m sorry, but this team isn’t showing any of us anything. It could be a coaching problem, or it could be the ghost of last season hanging over them. We don’t know yet. What we know is that our players are not performing.

In the second ST game, with two of the regular 8 starting and rookie pitchers who aren’t even yet on the 25-man, I see that some can make a determination as to potential success or failure for the coming season. When the games, you know, actually count. Geez.

I know that some here wanted the Braves to “start fast”, but I thought they meant April. I was obviously off in that reckoning. It’s not enough to go 162-0, you gotta have a perfect record in ST, too. :-) We got some tough crowd here, brother.
