If Samantha returns and starts calling us all MORONS and premadonnas, expounds on the advantages of friends with benefits, and declares that God is dead, we’ll finally see the face behind the mask.

Would it be in poor taste to ask Samantha out on a date? I mean, besides the fact that I’m married and she’s heartbroken.

Things are very well with my mother, with my brother………… Man I just don’t know. It seems his liver has been getting much worse the last few years and he has not been getting the treatment he should have.
It’s all really complicated to explain but with the construction industry collapse, and the financial problems that followed that he has not always been able to see the specialist he should have, even with insurance. Anyway he got bad news this week, if he had been getting treated sooner with the new meds he would have a 70% chance of clearing up the liver problem. Now the odds are not so good, if he can handle the treatment at all. A liver transplant is highly unlikely.
Aside from him being my brother he has been my business partner for well over twenty years so we have been together almost every weekday all those years……… And even with his problems he has always been so strong, the kind of guy that brute forces his way through problems, you know. He needs surgery on his back, too, but that’s out for now…………… Hard to watch…………
Thanks for asking.

You don’t have to pay real money—I got 400 coins for buying the full version (I went back to the free one, though, ’cause the full one…had more issues…), so I “bought” one of the color packs, which cost 259 coins. I think you earn coins based on the words you guess and draw…

Step right up to the plate with the rest of us for this season. You’ll have to grow some thicker skin, though. Some folks on here can be rough and condescending at times, but they’re in the minority. You’ll get the most informed, most current and enjoyable Braves and baseball read from DOB and the rest of his “followers” here than anywhere else.
It was on the tip of my brain! Just took me a year-and-a-half… I knew what it was…

But I just read where, Murph, wants to ask, Lou Vales, out on a date. (NTTAWWT)

Thank you ladies, Just thought you would like to know that I am feeling better after talking to my sister. She told me to wake up in the morning and look at the beautiful day and think Go Yellow Jackets and go Braves. I can find a new relationship but to take my time and be careful. Maybe I should just wash my hands of all men.

Good evening all… Wow Grady Sizemore out again. I think someone posted last night how it was a mistake for the Braves not to sign him. Case in point on why NOT to sign him.

I’m a little sad to see Jason Varitek retiring. Not surprised. I was living in Boston, when he came there. After the departure of Clemens, Boston needed the injection of some new life and Varitek brought that (with his fellow tradee Derek Lowe).
March 1st, 20129:44 pm
Moe: I enjoyed the heck out of that movie you posted last night…it was very well done.
Loosing Managar = Loosing Record
March 1st, 20129:45 pm
Just grate. The Braves draft a palyer with a drug problem who cant decide his next move. Fist Tommy Hansen and now this looser.
March 1st, 20129:47 pm
kenhotlanta–Glad you liked it. Sandeep is a good (albeit not terribly productive) filmmaker. He is wonderfully cantankerous and a great drinking buddy. I would hate working for him–an absolute control freak. One time I was staying with him the day before a production was to begin. He gave his crew a rather rough time.
March 1st, 20129:54 pm
So… I’m guessing our newest blog member is a stripper. Or she works the night shift at Motel 6.
Either way, she sounds like a real catch.
March 1st, 20129:55 pm
I think JJ gets traded for a hitter this summer. I’d say Beachy MIGHT bring more at that time due to another possible JJ injury, but you have to remember JJ hits FA waaaay sooer than BB. Teheran is ready and he’ll need to take somebody’s spot in that rotation.
Of course an injury or two could happen preventing any trade of a SP at all anytime soon.
March 1st, 20129:58 pm
Moe: forgot to tell you that you wife is beautiful and looked really good in the movie.
In counting 6 misspellings in one post, does one ignore the poster’s name, which is always misspelled?
CTB–What if Chipper is healthy this season? Where does the hitter fit? Do the Braves do a midseason dump of Bourn and pick up a longer-term CFer? If so, whom? Yes, the Braves would like another bat, but where do you put him on the field?
March 1st, 201210:02 pm
Moe Berg, I still think Prado at a super sub role while getting a LF who can give you as much, if not more than Prado, would make us so much stronger on the offense side. Prado will be doing plenty of fill-ins for CJ and others on the field.
March 1st, 201210:03 pm
VJ–I think I see the misspellings in the name and know to skip the whole post.
ken–I agree. Rather fond of her. The film was made right about the time we met. A slightly humorous story. She was shooting her saree’d scene in some small village. The next day, they were shooting something else, but she was not in the scenes. So she was on the set in her jeans, t-shirt and smoking a cigarette. The villagers were asking where was the young lady that had been there the day before–could not recognize her at all.
March 1st, 201210:06 pm
Nobody knows what to expect from CJ on the health side. Pins and needles again, but the guy gives the lineup a lot when he’s in there. It’s why Prado in the super sub role is so valuable. Hinske and Diaz will be in LF and that doesn’t get anybody pumped. Constanza is almost worse.
March 1st, 201210:08 pm
CTB–I can see the value of Prado as a super-sub, but if he returns to his .300+ BA, we will want to see him everyday. He has demonstrated a diurnal sustainability that Infante never did in moving from super-sub to everyday player.
March 1st, 201210:11 pm
They’re now of course revving up the idea of this Sutton guy at some IF spots as a fill in,including the hot corner. Just a fancy way of saying “we’re broke, maybe we can find some gold in this rust”. We’ve seen this for a while now.
Moe: The movie was an interesting and funny story, and it was beautifully photographed. I’ve tried watching Bollywood movies and just can’t seem to get into them, but this movie was totally different. It reminded me of some of the characters and scenes in the movie “Outsourced”, which I also enjoyed a lot.
March 1st, 201210:15 pm
Moe Berg, they should’ve gotten more than Drew Sutton. Wilson is a good fielder, can’t hit for shi* though. They know CJ will need his rest and of course he’s a walking piece of glass nowadays. There’s time to get them a utility IF, but I wished they’d have gotten something better than Sutton or Wilson when they knew for sure Prado was going back full time to his LF spot.
March 1st, 201210:17 pm
kenhotlanta–I completely understand about Bollywood. After watching it for years, I have learned to appreciate its different modes of communicating and signifying. But it is difficult to get into and to access. But there is a lot of other quite interesting cinema in India that is not Bollywood. Another friend made a quite fun film ‘Sthaniya Sambaad’ that has won some awards and shown around at film festivals and art houses. I am quite fond of it, as well. Glad you liked this one.
March 1st, 201210:19 pm
Until I see Hudson pitch at least two games will I feel good about him. That’s always worrying when your #1 goes down and it’s still an unknown. Cannot replace Huddy at this point. Maybe next year when Hanson gets another season under his belt and Teheran gains more time up in the bigs. Not now.
CTB–I would like a better bat as a back-up. But I understand working within financial constraints. One can see the weaknesses, but it is hard to get around.
Anyway, I am being hailed for a good dinner, so I should go grab some food.

Losing Fan Appeal of SKE???
The Dude has been the Braves best Pinch hitter since I don’t know when…? He has Arguable been the best Pinch Hitter the last 2 years running
March 1st, 201210:26 pm
Tomahawkin, he has struggled for us down the stretch more than not since being a Brave. He’s still one of my top guys off the bench late in the clutch though.
March 1st, 201210:32 pm
Too Much Wine Already…
I meant to say Arguably…in regards to SKE
cab & McFann – I mean seriously?
March 1st, 201210:34 pm
HAHA! What IS that???
March 1st, 201210:35 pm
I don’t know yet. Please help me figure out how to quit these random games.
March 1st, 201210:37 pm
Players who spend their seasons either as backup Catchers or Pinch Hitters are going to have up and down streaky years, same came be said for 90 percent of set up relievers…
Not to mention SKE prolly starts somewhere for 1/2 the teams in the game. He chooses to stay with us despite our Cheap As owners Lowballing him…So I can’t Rip SKE…
My eye will be on Matty-D…A season like he had in 2008-09 with us makes our bench a lot better than it looks on paper…with that said I don’t want Matty-D our there playing D in the late innings…
And If I’m not mistaking??? Matty D in his first stint with Atlanta was one of the smarter baserunners on teams full of Slugs….
March 1st, 201210:38 pm
yeah, Too much wine so far…I meant to say…”Same can be said”
