If Samantha returns and starts calling us all MORONS and premadonnas, expounds on the advantages of friends with benefits, and declares that God is dead, we’ll finally see the face behind the mask.
Things are very well with my mother, with my brother………… Man I just don’t know. It seems his liver has been getting much worse the last few years and he has not been getting the treatment he should have.
It’s all really complicated to explain but with the construction industry collapse, and the financial problems that followed that he has not always been able to see the specialist he should have, even with insurance. Anyway he got bad news this week, if he had been getting treated sooner with the new meds he would have a 70% chance of clearing up the liver problem. Now the odds are not so good, if he can handle the treatment at all. A liver transplant is highly unlikely.
Aside from him being my brother he has been my business partner for well over twenty years so we have been together almost every weekday all those years……… And even with his problems he has always been so strong, the kind of guy that brute forces his way through problems, you know. He needs surgery on his back, too, but that’s out for now…………… Hard to watch…………
Evan Gattis–I will be watching your progress. Great story and hope it becomes better for you. You are with a good organization–The Braves need a good stick-keep on plugging at it. Thanks Dave for this one!

You don’t have to pay real money—I got 400 coins for buying the full version (I went back to the free one, though, ’cause the full one…had more issues…), so I “bought” one of the color packs, which cost 259 coins. I think you earn coins based on the words you guess and draw…

2) McCann has no need to improve his body via workouts.
3) One day he will see the light and marry you and have 8 little McFanns.

They’re now of course revving up the idea of this Sutton guy at some IF spots as a fill in,including the hot corner. Just a fancy way of saying “we’re broke, maybe we can find some gold in this rust”. We’ve seen this for a while now.
Moe: The movie was an interesting and funny story, and it was beautifully photographed. I’ve tried watching Bollywood movies and just can’t seem to get into them, but this movie was totally different. It reminded me of some of the characters and scenes in the movie “Outsourced”, which I also enjoyed a lot.
Moe Berg, they should’ve gotten more than Drew Sutton. Wilson is a good fielder, can’t hit for shi* though. They know CJ will need his rest and of course he’s a walking piece of glass nowadays. There’s time to get them a utility IF, but I wished they’d have gotten something better than Sutton or Wilson when they knew for sure Prado was going back full time to his LF spot.
kenhotlanta–I completely understand about Bollywood. After watching it for years, I have learned to appreciate its different modes of communicating and signifying. But it is difficult to get into and to access. But there is a lot of other quite interesting cinema in India that is not Bollywood. Another friend made a quite fun film ‘Sthaniya Sambaad’ that has won some awards and shown around at film festivals and art houses. I am quite fond of it, as well. Glad you liked this one.
Until I see Hudson pitch at least two games will I feel good about him. That’s always worrying when your #1 goes down and it’s still an unknown. Cannot replace Huddy at this point. Maybe next year when Hanson gets another season under his belt and Teheran gains more time up in the bigs. Not now.
CTB–I would like a better bat as a back-up. But I understand working within financial constraints. One can see the weaknesses, but it is hard to get around.
Anyway, I am being hailed for a good dinner, so I should go grab some food.
Tomahawkin, he has struggled for us down the stretch more than not since being a Brave. He’s still one of my top guys off the bench late in the clutch though.
Players who spend their seasons either as backup Catchers or Pinch Hitters are going to have up and down streaky years, same came be said for 90 percent of set up relievers…
Not to mention SKE prolly starts somewhere for 1/2 the teams in the game. He chooses to stay with us despite our Cheap As owners Lowballing him…So I can’t Rip SKE…
My eye will be on Matty-D…A season like he had in 2008-09 with us makes our bench a lot better than it looks on paper…with that said I don’t want Matty-D our there playing D in the late innings…
And If I’m not mistaking??? Matty D in his first stint with Atlanta was one of the smarter baserunners on teams full of Slugs….
