Todd Pratt was a Dope Back Up Catcher, he called a good Game…
Braves have been blessed with good Back Up Catchers the last 20 years, from Berryhill, C, O’Brien, E. Perez, wasn’t a Fan of Paul Bako, but Pratt and Rossy have been great back ups…

His Name gets mentioned Every year at the trade deadline or the offseason…If we haven’t gotten him by now then people should kill that talk…only way the braves go after him from here on out will be if he is desperate to play one more year and signs a cheap deal or gets released out of a contract…but thats way down the road from now

Was thinking about this at the J.O.B.B. earlier
Why did the Braves move from West Palm to Orlando… in 1996-97? West Palm is a Great thriving area to live in if you don’t mind the Yankees (Northerners)…The Braves must’ve had ballpark issues back then at the old West Palm…Not To mention…PGA BLVD isn’t that far away either…
I was wondering abt that because West Palm is Still A Part of the Braves, most fans north of the 954 are Braves Fans

This Gerris is a rare breed, especially if he stays on this track. Most never seem to recover fro addiction mixed with depression. Not fully to where the achieve big goals.

So, I guess the Countdown Clock on the main page is a countdown to the day of the first game, and not the actual game time. It might make more sense to countdown to game time of first pitch, but that’s just me.

I have flown to Vegas exactly once in my life…it’s a short trip, but not worth it from LA, if you ask me. But obviously, you don’t really have another option
Be careful with the timing if yo do head to Vegas- there are times when it is ridiculously crowded and/or SUPER hot…

That’s a good time to hit Vegas. It will probably be colder than I would prefer when we go, and it was OMG HOT when we were there for VJ’s birthday last year- 105+ during the day (and 110+ on the drive home through Death Valley without air conditioning…I don’t recommend that)…

it is quite an interesting place to walk out and see people playing croquet on the lawn-the island is a state park and there are several more reasonable hotels on the island…but this one has the old school style that is quite interesting (at least to me)

Sandeep makes rarified art films–teaches at the top film school in India. His younger brother, on the other hand, has become a hugely successful cinematographer in Bollywood–one their equivalent of the Oscar for best cinematography. Sandeep married a minor Bollywood starlet and teaches film directing and slowly produces films. Great guy to hang out with.
