2 Things
One: My dad and I was on the way to Fulton County when we heard about the fire. Well my dad is a well known in the Electrical field and was working for the city of Atlanta at that time. The fire marshall called him and asked if he would take a look. So Log story short, My dad was one of the PEOPLE who decided whether or not the game can continue.
TWO: We were listening to Skip Carrey on the way to the stadium. And a woman called the station to share an idea with Skip. She mentioned and I quote “Why dont they just play the ball game in the Ga. Dome?” HAHAHA. WOW! Skip had fun with her. And we laughed the whole way to the stadium.
The Braves won that game and it was an amazing expierence.

Like to see Big Cat there sometime in the future. Didn’t play much for Braves but had some good years when he was healthy. Great inspiration coming back from cancer and producing.

Awesome those guys are there – Justice and McGriff! Those were the good old days! My son and I were at the game when that fire broke out – what memories!

McGriff should go into the HOF as Brave. I wish the organization and current beat writers would champion his cause more.
