Tomahawkin-I love watching The old Whitney Videos…Beyonce can’t top old Whitney….
Thats only because you grew up listening to her. I was kind of a betweener for generations on Whitney and Beyonce. Caught Whitney towards the end when she was in and out of rehab and too old to like Beyonce. Personally I think they both suck, but whatever.

We have to figure Delgado or Teheran will be in the rotation to start the season if Hudson needs a few more weeks off. Then we have alot of bullpen depth, with Acensio, Fish, Moylan in the mix and not knowing if the Braves want Vizciano in AAA starting. The last bench spot will be between Constanza and Durango. Depending on how much they want a player capable of playing Centerfield on the bench. Bourn will play 150+ games so the need isn’t too great. Drew Sutton could be in the mix as a extra infielder as well.

Tom – I’ve got my own in sync fan…you can see her in a couple of the videos. We played at her restaurant a few months ago and me and the drummer stayed for karaoke….me and her sang “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and since, she’s shown up at our shows

DOB, thanks for the update on Hudson. May work to the Brave’s advantage to bring him along slowly as it will give some of the younger guys more “innings” to pitch in Spring Training. Good chance that we open the season with two of the three (Minor, Delgado, or Tehran) on the staff and then further eliminate someone when Huddy is back.

Great artist (drummer for The Band plus solo work) and actor, he beat cancer about 10 years ago.

This crowd was very receptive of his effort. Of course, as jeffrey & I discussed earlier, it helps if the crowd is in sync. This may be one of the most in sync crowds in musical history.

I plead my case to the jury your honor. I need a ruling.
I come here everyday and I hear my team, the Braves, have almost no chance at making the playoffs.
I see the best catcher in baseball in Brian McCann
I see the runner-up in the Rookie of the year for 2011 in Freedie Freeman
I see the only 2nd Baseman in the history of major lead baseball to hit 30 or more home runs in a season for 5 straight seasons in Dan Uggla and even though he isn’t the top notch fielder I would like, well I remember how bad our former 2nd baseman, Kelly Johnson was! I think that is where I got a nervous twitch, until he was released.
I see a young SS( his name is Tyler) that is said to average on defense, but can steal bases, bunt, hustles, has a great attitude, can move runners over and strikes out very seldom and usually puts the ball in play. Judge, you say my twitch is back. Sorry, I thought I heard someone say how great and neccessary Alex Gonzalez was?
I see a 40 year old Hall of Fame 3B in Chipper Jones, that although he is not what he once was, he was in the top 4 OPS last year in the National League. He has lost a step on defense, but we have a All Star former 2nd baseman(in 2010) that is so versatile that he can give him rest to keep him fresh.
Speaking of that former All Star 2nd Baseman Martin Prado, he was moved to LF(Is there any place he can’t play)
Did I tell you about the CFer we got in a one sided trade last year MIchael Bourn? He has lead all of baseball in stolen bases over the last 3 years and is a Gold Glove Fielder and very good leadoff hitter.
Our RFer , Jason Heyward was the runner-up to the Rookie of the year in 2010 and made the All Star Roster, he is a possible Gold Glove fielder when he gets more mature and a a potential cleanup hitter,Oh I forgot he is only 22 years old like the 1st baseman and the SS.
The pitching staff is anchored by a mid thirty year old, Tim Hudson, that is the very type of guy to teach and lead all the young pitchers and has been an All Star numerous times. The other top pitchers consist of a pitcher, Jair Jurjjens,that was an All Star last year and had the lowest ERA of any starting pitcher in baseball at the time of the All Star Game. He has had injury problems the last two seasons, but he is REALLY good when healthy. He is 25 years old along with the other “OLDER” starting Pitcher, Tommy Hanson, who also is really great when healthy. To round out the starting Rotation is a pitcher, Brandon Beachy, who got Rookie of the year votes and set a franchise record for a rookie pitcher with more strikeouts than any other Rookie Braves pitcher. THe 5th spot will go to one of 4 pitchers, Mike Minor, Julio Teheran, Arrodys Vizcaino and A guy named Delgado who are all highly regarded in and outside of the Braves Organization.
Last but not least is the Bullpen, which is considered by the majority of scribes and experts as the best in baseball.
I admit your Honor, the bench is a little weak. But, we do have the best backup catcher in baseball, a normally top notch LHed pinch Hitter, a Great fielding utility guy that plays 2nd, SS and 3B and one of the OFers will be good defensively with lots of speed. The worst player is a guy who normally tears up Lhed pitching and I am a little worried about him.
I need a ruling your honor. I see a World Series contender, but many others see a fourth place finish in the Braves division.
I await your verdict your honor for you are impartial, fair and Honorable. By the way, if its not out of order, where are you from your honor

I remember when I first learned how to do that. McFann gave me the link while nolie was giving me instructions. One of the things I read was that you could turn it off. However, I’m too lazy to look that up, right now (or, probably, anytime).
