I think that with most pitchers who develop the under rotator cuff tear that are able to pitch through it are able to because they don’t use so much upper body to pitch. I think with Hanson, that was probably one of the reasons that it put so much pressure on his shoulder. It’s smart for him to work on his mechanics now before he has too much damage to his body. If this change turns out well it could be the thing that propels him into the true upper echelon of pitchers in the NL and makes him the true No. 1 on our pitching staff.

I was responding to Ray he was asking people to prognosticate who would be tops in those three stats I took a guess if J hey can drive the ball this year the way he grounded out to 2nd last year i think can can rack up the homers but I’ve been a braves “homer” for over 43 years

nothing wrong with that at all…wouldn’t surprise me to see him as our #2HR guy but more likely low 30’s to high 20’s. but I’ll take 37 any day of the week

So would people be happier with a new GM that mortgaged the future of the team for aging “stars” that do nothing to guarantee a world series or even more wins? (see Yankees, New York OR Phillies, Philadelphia) How is that better than where the team currently is? All that would do is cause people to relive the Tex trade and complain about it for years to come.
