Wow, can it possibly be true that Buffalo Bill with Dabney Coleman was almost 30 years ago? Really?
*****************************************************************************
Now that was a very funny show,
I just started new job, and I’m getting paid every 2 weeks. But I’m confused on how the taxes taken out works…. For example my 1st check was for 40 hours, After taxes I brought home 355 bucks. So if my next check is for 80 I’ll bring home 710 right? Cause the taxes stay the same right?
Lew you roost here like you own the place which is sad in its own right, but I digress.
You accept everything they shovel out of ATL and expect better results. That is what one would call clueless. This team’s season is as easy to predict as your condescending and self aggrandized comments to anyone who says the emperor has no clothes.
So far your approval of the Braves way is resulting watching other teams play baseball in October.
Let’s see how they fair in 2012.
I suspect you will back here in 10mos starting up another excuse parade and dismissing legitimate concerns of how this club is being run and the decisions they are making along the way.
It would have been a bold move to step back and retool/rebuild in 2007 or 2008 versus spending the money when your minor league system was not ready to give you ML ready players.
You could not win squat with JJ, Mac and Hudson given the rest of the team and bench. Add in Bobby’s declining managerial skills and it was just a dead cat bounce of a move adding Lowe, KK and Vaz.
The point is this team chased flags in futility not making the kind of strategic changes to the team needed to win it all. They lower their expectations to then shoot for a shot at the WC and some chance of post season relevance.
Again making short sighted moves to stay in the mix and that is where they stand today.
At this point given the potential changes coming in 2013 Wren may be forced to blow up the team. But it would have been a more gutsy call to do it years ago so when FF, Heyward and the arms came to ATL the core of the team would be stronger.
They would actually have a design center versus a shepherds pie of players they cobbled together along the way.
Success leaves clues as does failure. What you seem to be clueless about is how this FO does not learn from its failures.
Ok awesome thanks….Being paid every week for 6 years and now changing confused me, At first I was thinking since the paycheck would be for more that more would be taken out.
Really….Wren has rebuilt this team ,without the complete demolition of the roster. This is a team on the uptick of a youth cycle,Maybee you should just go be a fan of a team like the A’s or Cubs( they know how to tear a team apart).
At first glance he did. I think he was surprised his spring training comment did not garner more of a response. Maybe we just keep a closer watch on that sort of thing than his twitter followers.
